The grandfather of isekai has returned this season as Mushoku Tensei Season 2 Episode 7 is the seventh episode of the show’s latest season. Mushoku Tensei, also known as Mushoku Tensei Jobless Reincarnation or Mushoku Tensei Isekai Ittara Honki Dasu in original Japanese, is an adventure, drama and fantasy anime based on a light novel series written by Rifujin na Magonote and illustrated by Sirotaka.
“Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation” follows the story of an unnamed 34-year-old man who dies in a rather unfortunate incident but is reincarnated into a magical world as a baby named Rudeus. Determined to make the most of his second chance at life, Rudeus resolves to embrace his newfound abilities and avoid the regrets of his previous existence. With his exceptional intellect and knowledge from his past life, he sets out on a journey of self-improvement and adventure, guided by the principles instilled in him by his parents.
Season 2 of Mushoku Tensei follows Rudeus after he battles another bout with his intense depression as Eris leaves him and goes exploring again. He picks himself off his feet to find his mother but can’t reconcile his feelings of being abandoned again. Meanwhile, we see a return of one of the most significant members of his past, as Sylphiette is given a reintroduction and wants to recruit him to a team. This episode is also known as Mushoku Tensei Jobless Reincarnation Season 2 Episode 7 and Mushoku Tensei Isekai Ittara Honki Dasu Season 2 Episode 7.

Mushoku Tensei Season 2 Episode 7 Plot
Despite being a low-key episode where the plot significance of most events wasn’t at its highest, the episode felt like it would have far-reaching consequences for at least Rudeus’ time in the academy, if not the rest of his life. He has invoked the services of Juliette, a dwarf girl, for the express purpose of her making dolls for Zanoba in the way he wants them. However, that isn’t where her involvement in the story is going to end.
Mushoku Tensei Season 2 Episode 7 Characters
The silly game of Sylphiette not revealing her identity to Rudeus isn’t one that is particularly offensive, provided the show doesn’t get too onboard with it. That part of the plot needs to be resolved soon for any real character development of Sylphiette and Rudeus in this arc. It will also be interesting to see the impact Juliette has on the overall dynamic between Zanoba, Rudeus, and Sylphiette. A lot is still up in the air!
