Morbius Exclusive Clip: Jared Leto’s Transformation Looks Sinister AF

Scheduled for a January release next year, Jared Leto’s Morbius sheds light on another Spider-Man supervillain much like Venom. The Living Vampire, as our title character is commonly known throughout the comics, is a character with immense greyscale where it becomes difficult to point at him as the enemy. Thus, as much as the audience is excited to see Tom Holland’s ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’, they are equally excited to discover this villain’s origin story.

Produced by Columbia Pictures in association with Marvel, this film will mark the third film in Sony’s Spider-Man Universe. The film is directed by Daniel Espinosa and written by Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless. It stars Jared Leto as Michael Morbius, who is our titular character. We also have cast members Matt Smith, Adria Arjona, Jared Harris, Al Madrigal, and Tyrese Gibson joining the film.

Check out Sony’s New Morbius Clip

A month ago the trailer dropped, revealing to the audience the run and sinister capabilities of our titular character played by Leto and his dual nature. In the new Morbius clip by Sony, a specific scene is focused on, a scene we are all very familiar with.

As we all know, our title character suffers from a rare blood disease and attempts to cure himself, not only to recover but to help others with the same condition find a cure. This clip focuses on how our title character turns into a vampire, his sinister alter-ego while attempting the cure.

Sony also released a new poster for the film as a part of Sony’s presentation at CCXP, which also shows our title character and his alter-ego, almost like the new posters that were released for Venom and Carnage, recently.

The film is expected to release in theatres on January 28, 2022. Meanwhile, you can watch the official trailer for the film by clicking here.
