She spent 8 years trying to pass the civil service exam and only got part-time jobs. However, an incident causes her to age into a 50-year-old named Im Sun in the day and rejuvenate back into her 20s in the night.

Lee Hyung-min is the series director known for popular works such as Winter Sonata, I’m Sorry, I Love You, Chocolate, Strong Woman Do Bong Soon and others. Good Casting fame Park Ji-han screenwrites for the drama as well.

Miss Night and Day Episode 3 Recap

Miss Night and Day Episode 3

The episode continues with the perpetrator running away from Ji-woong. The perp drives away as Ji-woong keeps chasing him down. Mi-jin reads the case files when the car drives at full speed at her but stops right in front of her. She loses the papers and goes towards him to take them when Ji-woong rushes and calls her name. He checks on her when the perp gets away. Mi-jin realises that he has a unique scent – almost like an air freshener but she cannot point it out.

He drops her off at home and her parents see it – making her mother happy that her daughter is trying with a reputed prosecutor while Mi-jin has the case files in her head. Turns out, the case files belonged to Ji-woong’s mother. Looking at them, he realises that some of the information has been ripped out and calls the detective about it. He tells him that the detective-in-charge at the time would know about it.

In the morning, Lim Sun receives the brave intern award for helping Ko Won during the scary incident. At that time, a new senior intern joins as well – a hospital director named Baek Cheol-gyu. Ga-yeong receives a plethora of gifts from Ko Won as a thank-you. She looks confused when the manager tells her that her mother helped Ko Won during an incident. Confused, she calls Mi-jin and the latter (as Lim Sun) freaks out and runs to explain.

Initially, Ga-yeong does not believe her one bit. She hits and pushes her away – claiming the ‘old lady’ is scamming her. In the end, Mi-jin tells her to wait till the sun sets and she can see for herself. Ga-yeong is shocked at the situation and finds it difficult to compute. She ends up helping Mi-jin find the cat who is responsible for the problem.

The next day, Lim Sun calls Ko Won out and returns the gifts to him. He tries to give her something different but she denies everything. In the end, she agrees to him bringing coffee for her every day till he is done with his service. At the same time, the perpetrator responsible for throwing the acid is interviewed by Ji-woong. The perp loses his mind without the drugs in his system and it is obvious that he meant harm to Ko Won.

Later, Ko Won experiences a panic attack as he thinks a masked man is the perp. He hastily goes for air and meets Lim Sun there. Initially, he seems aggressive but Lim Sun calms him down with vitamins and a sweet. A little while later, Ko Won feels better and thinks of Lim Sun as she manages to make him feel better. At the same time, Lim Sun thanks Ji-woong for giving her earphones back and gives him a sweet instead.

Ji-woong finds the interaction odd and forgets about it when he finds an ungrateful office assistant who refuses to do the work on time. She gets angry at his harsh words and decides to leave the job – annoying the deputy director. Ji-woong gets an earful for getting someone to leave when they are already understaffed but Ji-woong does not let it affect him.

During an investigation, the detective reveals that the victim could be alive as the leg was cut off while she was alive. He thinks of his mother – who had a similar fate. He continues looking around when he sees someone suspicious driving the same car as that day. He follows him but loses him soon enough. He visits Mi-jin at her home when her parents force them to sit in her room and talk.

Even though they feel uncomfortable, they still talk about the case. Tension spreads in the room as they sit together but Mi-jin thinks back to the smell from the perpetrator and wishes she could remember. He leaves soon after and her mother gushes about him.

The next day, Lim Sun is called by the deputy director and is given a new job as the office aide for Ji-woong’s office. He sees her and gets angry at the situation. He visits the deputy director who tells him to work with what he has as they cannot get another person. The episode ends with Lim Sun introducing herself while Ji-woong looks at her all puzzled.

Miss Night and Day Episode 3 Review

Miss Night and Day Episode 3

The episode seems more like a filler but is entertaining nonetheless. Lee Jung-eun shows her youthful side beautifully and it seems like she has chemistry with Baek Seo-hoo. Jung Eun-ji, on the other hand, displays her comedic acting amazingly and her dialect adds flair to the otherwise slightly dark drama! Choi Jin-hyuk’s stoic personality creates a cool atmosphere as well and we hope to see him unlock his personality while he gets to know Jung Eun-ji’s character!

Miss Night and Day is streaming on Netflix.

  1. Wtf why dont she want to keep the car? She could use that instead of that little bike, maybe as the young side of her,

It was a great thing to use it in the show, and the other stuff could been made some funny scenes,

Episode 2, the library scene shes looking soo loong that the murder gets time to murder another person,

And the car scene with the murderer she couldn’t see the car, not seeing the licence plate even the turned away from her and showed it, stupid,

And the scene with the girl who diden belive it was her, woow that took 15 minutes, i see why the guys dumped her, she’s like a twelve years old girl,

Im at episode 4 now, be careful dont get too stupid by watching this, good luck too everyone else,

    Me?? Its too late………
