The trailer of the upcoming comedy film Me Time has been released by Netflix. The film is supposed to go on the floor in the month of August and has a stellar cast that includes the names of Kevin Hart, Mark Wahlberg, Regina Hall, Luis Gerardo Méndez and stand-up comedian Jimmy O. Yang.
The film is written and directed by John Hamburg, the director of Along Came Polly and the man behind one of Philip Seymour Hoffman’s finest acting moments. The synopsis of the film reads – When a stay-at-home dad finds himself with some ‘me time’ for the first time in years while his wife and kids are away, he reconnects with his former best friend for a wild weekend that nearly upends his life.
We all need some time for ourselves out of our busy lives but when stay-at-home dad Sonny gets some free time when his wife takes the kids for a vacation, is it also an appealing vacation for a father of two? Not quite. In the trailer, we can see that his best friend Huck invites him out for his birthday but he refuses to go.

Until, when his ‘me time’ doesn’t go as well as he thought it would. He is crowded by old people while trying to have a dynamic golf time and vomits out all the sausages he devoured as his favourite meal. That’s when he decides to go to his friend’s party and all hell breaks loose.
He is trapped in the middle of a desert and soon Sonny is duking it out with a hostile mother mountain lion and hitting the Grand Canyon or we should rather say, hitting flocks of birds above the Grand Canyon, in a wingsuit. From peeing in a bucket to almost losing a finger, Kevin Hart will have a really wild story to tell if only, he survives.
John Amos, Anna Maria Horsford, Andrew Santino, Deborah S. Craig, Naomi Ekperigin, Drew Droege, Ilia Isorelýs Paulino, Tahj Mowry, Carlo Rota, Che Tafari, and Amentii Sledge are also included in the film.
