MasterChef India Season 7 Episode 51 is hosted by Vikas Khanna, Ranveer Brar and joined by Garima Arora as a judge on the show, the seventh instalment of the series has been produced by Endemol Shine India and directed by Neeraj Shetty. Last week brought about the elimination of one of the fan favourite contestants – Priyanka Kundu Biswas. As sad as that may have been for the fans of the show, we’re now one step closer to the finale as we’re headed into the semi-finale week.
The latest episode, titled ‘Liquid to Solid Challenge’, that premiered on March 13, 2023, at 9PM IST, marks the return of the remaining home cooks from Abu Dhabi as they were greeted with a welcome drink, which of course was yet another contest in disguise. The flavours of the respective drinks so handed to the contestants had to be transformed into a solid form dish. And, so began the trials of the day as the home cooks committed themselves to the task of translating the appetising taste of their drinks into a dish.
The cooking competition show is a nationwide quest to find the best ‘home cook’ and draws out some of the most brilliant chefs from across India. The judges sample recipes from various cuisines that the contestants prepare in their search for India’s ‘MasterChef’. And after going through many challenges, one will win the grand prize and the titles.
After consuming the latest episode, fans voiced out their frustration with the show’s format, the judges and some of the home cooks participating in the new challenge. In spite of having made it to the biggest turn-arounds of their journey, some contestants still couldn’t incorporate innovation into their dishes and continued with what came easy to them and could be worked out comfortably. Former home cooks like the beloved Baa and Priyanka were brought into the discussion on Twitter. Moreover, audiences still can’t seem to comprehend why Chef Vikas barely speaks up when the other two Chefs pitch in their critiques.
