MasterChef India Season 7 Episode 47 introduces mystery boxes to the home cooks on their way to becoming chefs. The remaining players in the competition who took on today’s challenge were Nayanjoti, Aruna, Gurkirat, Priyanka and Santa. And as all of them received their unique boxes, the three judges poured in their disparate critiques, which the fans can’t seem to come terms with. Hosted by Vikas Khanna, Ranveer Brar and joined by Garima Arora as a judge on the show, the seventh instalment of the series has been produced by Endemol Shine India and directed by Neeraj Shetty.
The latest episode of the show, titled ‘Waqt Ka Khel’, that premiered on March 7, 2023, at 9PM IST, brought on an unprecedented challenge for the remaining contestants in the form of mystery boxes in Abu Dhabi. Each box contained a secret ingredient that the home cooks had to make use of meticulously within the constraints of the given time frame as always.
The cooking competition show is a nationwide quest to find the best ‘home cook’ and draws out some of the most brilliant chefs from across India. The judges sample recipes from various cuisines that the contestants prepare in their search for India’s ‘MasterChef’. And after going through many challenges, one will win the grand prize and the titles.
Once again, the fans are calling out the show creators for rolling out the ‘scripted’ turn of events as they noted the difference in the ways Ranveer and Vikas hold their arguments in the show. Some even claimed the reality TV series to have ‘lost the plot’ as they noticed the gradually plummeting quality of the show.

However, that’s not all the viewers had to say today. They took turns to praise both Priyanka and Nayanjoti for sticking with their convictions despite the hurdles and harsh criticisms standing in they way. Affability towards Chef Garima, on the other hand, seems to be on thin ice as netizens captured the moment when she supposedly ‘tasted’ Priyanka’s dish, but never actually saw her take a bite before unleashing her thoughts on it. Santa’s efforts have been applauded from time to time on the show as the fans have taken her growing graph of performance into account.
