MasterChef India Season 7 Episode 34 is titled ‘Immunity Pin Jeetne Ka Dusra Mauka’, and the synopsis reads – The home cooks are given a fridge with ingredients out of which they will have to make their dish in order to win the ‘Immunity Pin’. How will the cooks fare in this challenge?
The country’s most beloved cooking television series hits the screen on January 2, 2023. The reality series is judged by Vikas Khanna and Ranveer Brar, two of India’s most well-known and sought-after chefs. Michelin Star awardee Garima Arora makes her debut in the latest season. The trio is ready to apply their expert culinary skills and give the nation another MasterChef.
Directed by Neeraj Shetty and produced by Endemol Shine India, the brand-new episode premiered on February 16, 2023, on Sony LIV at 9 PM IST.

Following the previous episode, the immunity challenge recommenced in the new one. Participants get a second chance to prove their skills and gain the immunity pin, which guarantees their safety for the upcoming week. Only six participants got the opportunity to take part in the challenge, and the rest of the home cooks remained on the balcony.
The episode started with the judges introducing the newest challenge to the participants. The task consisted of a surprise that was brought in by the crew. Upon unveiling, the objects turned out to be the fridges brought from each individual’s house. Home cooks had to create a dish from the ingredients inside the fridge.
Everyone seemed pleased with the challenge as it brought in the sense of familiarity. Re-creating a dish, they cook for their families seemed like a piece of cake for the contestants. They also started to reminisce moments with their loved ones and used it to their advantage to present the judges with a spectacular recipe.
Each contestant started thinking outside the box and reinventing their regularly cooked dishes. The judges started to go around the counters to understand what was being made. Whenever the cooks are met with difficulty, the judges are always present to offer advice and get them back up on the track.
Constants were asked to present their dishes after the time was up. Suvarna was the first one to be invited for the taste test. Her dish was called ‘Tawa Fish Fry with Pumpkin Sauce’. Judges were blown away by her creation and praised her immensely. The second contestant was Nyanjyoti, who presented a party platter that consisted of dumplings, fried chicken with chilli oil and dry fish sauce. The judges loved the dish, especially Ranveer Brar, who appreciated him for representing North-East in the show.
The third contestant was Deepa, who made a dish called ‘Haleem with Drumstick Curry’. Judges were disappointed with the dish as it did not live up to their expectations, and the presentation was also a letdown. Priyanka came next, presenting a homemade prawn dish representing her state, Kolkata. The rice and the prawn were not properly cooked; however, the rest of the dish impressed the judges.
Aruna cooked Pineapple Pulissery Ice-cream, and the judges were extremely impressed with the invention. They complimented her out-of-the-box idea to re-create a simple dish into something extraordinary. The last contestant to present their dish was Kamaldeep, who made Blueberry Stuffed Peas Roulad. The judges were beyond impressed by her flawless execution and compared it to a Michelin Star Chef’s dish.
It was time to announce the results; only five selected participants would be moving forward. The judges declared Deepa’s name, who would not be moving forward and will join the others on the balcony. The rest of the contestants will be facing the next immunity challenge in tomorrow’s episode.
MasterChef India Season 7 Episode 34: Final Thoughts
The immunity pin challenge is going on a loop at this point with no clear motive. After the fourth episode consisting of the same challenge, it gets bland and boring no matter how unique the presented dishes are. Even the tasks are getting repeated, and no solid development from the contestants is being shown.
Nevertheless, the thought process the home cooks go through to reinvent a new dish every time is commendable and worth the watch. Food from different states being presented, showcasing the country’s diversity, is a pleasant sight to behold.
MasterChef India Season 7 is currently streaming on Sony LIV and a new episode is released from Monday to Friday at 9 PM.

We strongly feel that there is injustice with Priyanka.
First she was the last contestant to take the Immunity Pin even after challenging with Chef Manav she did excellent and was just one number ahead she definitely deserve the PIN.
Later PIN has been given in next round to the person who cook the best that could have been given to Priyanka earlier .
In Black Apron Survana made 80% uncooked fish even though she was safe.
TOTALLY INJUSTICE WITH PRIYANKA.
