Priya is paired with Avinash where she gives him the title of ‘aasman se gira khajoor me atka’ & gets ‘angoor khatte hai’ back. Kamaldeep is paired with Sachin where she gives him ‘doodh ka jala chach bhi phunk kar pita hai’ and gets ‘rai ka pahaad’ herself. Nayanjyoti gets ‘ek anar sau bimar’ from Nazia and she got ‘chane ke jhad pe chadhana’. Lastly, Suvarna gives ‘bandar kya jane adrak ka swad’ to Aruna & gets ‘kis khet ki mooli’ in return.
The reason for giving each other idioms based on food is that they have to make a dish by using the mentioned ingredient in their dish. It has to be a core element of the dish while they can innovate it as they like with other ingredients. They are given 60 minutes again for the challenge and only 5 minutes in the pantry.
As usual, the judges go around while the home cooks are busy cooking and ask them about their plans. They even give them some helpful tips which make their dishes better. After the end of the challenge, Priyanka and Santa are called first to present their dishes. Santa made baked brinjal, which was her core ingredient (baingan) and baba ganoush with some Maharashtrian influences.
Priyanka’s ingredient was melon (kharbooj) from which she made noodles with cold soup Gazpacho and the seeds of melon mixed with basil were made into pesto – coated on tofu. The judges complimented both of their presentations and overall taste. Next were Nazia & Nayanjyoti, where she made a chicken kofta with chana sauce with Arabian influences and chana wafer.
Nayanjyoti whose main ingredient was pomegranate (anar), made pomegranate glazed fried chicken, and pomegranate salad along with a cherry wine drink. Both of the home cooks got good comments over innovation and the flavours of their dishes. Followed by Arun and Suvarna, where Aruna got ginger as the core ingredient & she made morkali with injipuli chutney and honey-glazed garlic carrots.

Suvarna got radish and she made radish roll with parmesan cheese filling and her roll was coloured blue by extracting colour from blue cabbage leaves. The judges were again impressed with both of their presentations and gave good comments. Lastly, Sachin and Kamaldeep were called upon where Sachin made milk Kharvas with sabre cookies and before we could move on to Kamaldeep, the episode got over. The remaining contestants will be shown tomorrow only.
