The contestants lift the veil and underneath lies an air fryer that is a must use to prepare the dish for round one in MasterChef Austalia Season 14 Episode 29. Our contestants for the day will get 45 minutes to prepare a good dish. The top three dishes from the first round will move to the second round to win immunity. The pantry and the garden, of course, remain open for use.

Some of our cooks in the competition have used air fryers before and some haven’t. But they try their best to create a good and tasty dish. By the end of the first round, we see the dishes on the counter. Matt’s dish is a Nashville Hot Chicken and, it is spot on. Michael brings in his dish next which is Buffalo Wings which is great but ‘a bit blonde.’

Next up is Julie with her Spanakopita which is one tasty presentation. Mindy’s Cauliflower Steak with Mushrooms and Kombu Dashi Sauce is a good effort but lacks balance. Papdi Chaat by Ali wins hearts.

Ali’s dish is a Tempura Lobster with Sweet Corn which is underwhelming as there is too much going on the plate but, not everything is put together perfectly.
