Somehow, Malaika has been able to keep her job for the past 2 months despite being ignored by Zaki and not acknowledged for her work. She decides to turn things around and takes him on a conference trip to Zanzibar, to make connections and find investors for their company. However, when they reach their hotel, they find out that the assistant had booked only one room instead of two and the hotels are all booked.

They are forced to share the room and spend more time together. It had already irked Zaki how she was bossing him around but when he got to know that the board of directors are thinking of making her the CEO and removing him, he does something unthinkable. He mails to the board head that Malaika is not the right person and behaves unprofessionally.

Meanwhile, in Zanzibar, they meet a foreign investor from Nigeria – Mrs Yvonne Ezenna. Malaika thinks that if they can get her to work with them, the company can be saved from going through a financial crisis. Thus when she mistakes them for a married couple, instead of correcting her, Malaika decides to keep the married couple’s act and get investment from her.

Zaki is opposed to it at first but decides to give it a go and as he spends more time with Malaika and Mrs Yvonne, he gets to know her on a personal level. Meanwhile, Malaika also gets to know that Mark is getting married to someone else when he said that he wasn’t ready to marry her. On the brighter side, things seem to be going well for Malaika & Zaki as the investor was ready to work with them.
