Man Vs Bee: Everything to Know About Rowan Atkinson’s Netflix Comedy Series

Man vs. Bee is an upcoming British comedy TV series on Netflix. In the series, we will be seeing the legendary Mr Bean aka Rowan Atkinson in another comic role. It is also created and written by Rowan Atkinson and William Davies, with whom he had previously worked in the Johnny English film franchise. The series is directed by David Kerr.

The month of June has been full of comedy specials from Netflix is a Joke festival and the release of this series, starring one of the popular comic personalities is just cherry on top. Also, the show is one of many interesting contents that Netflix is making in the UK after the streaming giant set up a UK team to develop production in the country. The recently released British crime thriller series You Don’t Know Me has been a hit with the audience as well.

Man Vs Bee Plot/Synopsis

The official Netflix synopsis of the show reads – Bumbling dad Trevor tries to get the best of a cunning bee while house-sitting a posh mansion, but only unleashes more chaos in this comedy series. Who will win between Man Vs Bee, and what irreparable damage will be done in the process?

The character of Trevor is said to be very different from all the roles that the actor has played and hopes that it won’t be compared to his previous non-verbal comedy. It also stars Crazy Rich Asians cast Jing Lusi as the homeowner, whose house is about to get wrecked in the hilarious battle.

The series is scheduled to be released on Netflix on 24 June 2022. It will consist of 10 episodes, each of which will have a runtime of 10 minutes. You can check out the trailer below.
