Following the performances, the episode proceeds to announce which contestants advance to the finale and who faces elimination after the third round. Finalists are determined by combining scores from round 3 matches and third-party online voting. Ultimately, only 16 contestants earn the opportunity to perform in the live broadcast finale, with 7 contestants eliminated just before the final round. The contestants who were eliminated after the third round are Midori, Jung Jae-yong, Choi Min-jun, Kim Seung-ho, Shin Won-cheon, Seo Ji-ho, and Yoon Jae-yong.
