Maestra Episode 8 Preview: Maestra String of Truth (마에스트라) is a Korean mystery thriller that tells the story of a passionate violinist who reaches the peak she craves, without letting anyone get in her way. Directed by Kim Jung-kwon, the drama stars Lee Young-ae, Lee Mo-saeng, Hwang Bo Reum-byeol, Kim Young-jae, Park Ho-san, and Yang Jun-mo, alongside other cast members.
The Kdrama tells the story of violinist Cha Se-eum who is now the conductor of an orchestra. While she has reached a stage that is envied by all with her hard work and passion, Se-eum has a secret that can change her life forever. And so it does when a mysterious case takes place in the orchestra and she takes a look into it.
Maestra Strings of Truth takes over tvN’s Saturday & Sunday 21:20 time slot previously occupied by Castaway Diva.

Maestra Episode 8 Prediction
Investigations begin and Se-eum is once again surrounded by doubts while Phil is aware that she remembers nothing from that night. Se-eum finally agrees to have the documentary filmed and Phil returns to Hanphil while Jeong-jae is angered by what Se-eum is doing. He finally asks why is she doing this.
Se-eum’s answer- Hanphil might be her last orchestra.
Maestra Episode 7 Recap
The scene starts with Se-eum’s last meeting with her mother where she calls for help when her mother begs for death. Following the funeral, Se-eum gets back to work which shocks everyone, however, she drops another bomb by telling them that she will hold blind auditions for the orchestra.
She tells them that this is like a performance evaluation and the members soon get into practising. However, the next day, she fired two members after they failed the evaluation. Unknown to her, the two men along with Bong-ju get her into deep trouble when they accuse her of providing the two men with drugs.
Se-eum is taken for interrogation and Jeong-jae sends a lawyer to defend her while he collects evidence to save her. Luna helps him out by telling him that she saw Bong-ju enter her office on the day of the audition and with this Jeong-jae sends Bong-ju’s acquaintance as a witness to get Se-eum out.
However, this case shows its effects on Se-eum’s work after she is asked to stay low until the air clears by Sang-do. She is frustrated and gets drunk when Bong-ju calls her to meet him. However, Se-eum leaves and blacks out for the rest of the evening, only waking up the next day to find blood on her hand and the news that Bong-ju is dead.

Maestra Plot
The show’s synopsis reads: “A highly accomplished conductor decides to leave her life in New York behind to take up the challenge of reviving a struggling orchestra.”
The drama is a remake of the French show Philharmonia which aired in 2019. It follows the life of Cha Se-eum who is driven by passion and her boldness to achieve all that she aims for, no matter the price.
