Today, Netflix India dropped the first teaser of Lust Stories 2. It’s a new season of its 2018 anthology series that brings together noteworthy directors and actors to tell bold and beautiful stories. For the new chapters, filmmakers who have come together include Amit Ravindernath Sharma, R. Balki, Konkona Sen Sharma, to Sujoy Ghosh. Just like the directors, the cast list is also quite promising.
The new chapters will have amazing talents like Neena Gupta, Kajol, Kumud Mishra, Vijay Varma, Amruta Subhash, Tamannaah Bhatia, Mrunal Thakur, Angad Bedi and Tillotama Shome. In the teaser, be ready to chuckle at Neena’s cool sense of humour. The teaser doesn’t give us a clear idea of what kind of stories to expect. But the tease will definitely make the fans of the series eager to know more.
From the Lust Stories 2 teaser, one can sense that the filmmakers want to tell us the stories of lust or desire from the female lens. It would be interesting to see how the writers, directors and actors fascinate us with this interesting approach.
The anthology series is produced by RSVP and Flying Unicorn Entertainment. About the new series, RSVP’s Ronnie Screwvala said in an official statement, “We are proud to bring to our audiences the second edition of our Emmy Nominated anthology, Lust Stories 2. We have seen all our films that we have done with Netflix like Mission Majnu, Lust Stories, Paava Kadhaigal, Raat Akeli Hai and Dhamaka, being recognized and loved by a global audience, making it the ideal platform for Lust Stories 2. Working with Netflix and Ashi Dua once again on this much loved anthology made the entire process that much better and we can’t wait for our audiences to see the film.”
