Loving Adults Story
What would you do if you found out your partner cheated on you and then tried to murder you? That’s the question you will ask yourself when you watch Leonora and Christian as their relationship catches fire and burns to the ground.
Their relationship clearly has been dead for some time, but there’s more going on than meets the eye. At first, it seems the typical relationship but the deeper we go, the worse it gets. backstabbing, jealousy, doubts and murder turn their horrible relationship into a nightmare.
However, did they do it? Or is this simple imagination?

Loving Adults Explained
Well, the movie, starring Dar Salim, Sonja Richter is one hell of a ride. First and foremost, this might just be the detective making something up to dissuade his daughter from getting married. Love really is very difficult, and considering he lost his wife, he might be feeling extra protective of his daughter. Also, we can assume that Leonora and Christian never really got caught for the crimes that they committed, so it might just be an easy plot for the detective to feel like at least he knows what happened, regardless of whether he can prove it or not.
Now, considering that it did happen exactly how the detective describes it when Leonora gets to know of Christian’s infidelity during a work party, she threatens to tell the police of the financial fraud that he had committed in the past. Scared of what a prison sentence would do to his budding romance with Xenia, he brilliantly thinks that murdering his wife is the answer.

But, of course, he ends up accidentally killing another woman wearing the same clothes as his wife. To make matters worse, his wife learns of this deception thanks to a car wash card that he charged to her card. Confused and scared, she at first runs away from her husband and then asks him to kill Xenia to bury all of his crimes and start afresh.
Christian, at first, isn’t able to believe what his wife is saying. However, it turns out that she had previously murdered one of her ex-boyfriends when they tried to break up with her – apparently, she can’t let people go, especially romantic partners. Confused about what to do, he agrees to do her bidding and meets Xenia at her place, wherein, instead of murdering her according to his wife’s wishes, he sleeps with his affair partner.
Leonora, meanwhile, realising that her husband wouldn’t be able to pull this off, sneaks in through an open window of Xenia’s cottage and murders her before she can even register what is going on. In the end, we see Christian panicking during a bonfire party and asking his friend to accompany him to light the huge bonfire in the middle of a lake on fire. As the police with a K9 unit get there, he lights the bonfire alight, and it turns out that Xenia’s body really is in there.
As the credits roll, we see some bones under the water, presumably in the lake where the bonfire took place. Presumably, the entire thing might have happened and isn’t merely a wild theory, and the bones prove so.
Were Christian and Loreana ever caught?
As much as we saw in the story, they weren’t. In fact, they sold their house and moved somewhere else, presumably to restart their lives.
Loving Adults is streaming on Netflix.

Terrible ending. How,stupid are the police, especially the detective who has been suspecting the husband all along. The police are all watching watching as the husband frantically is trying to set ablaze the bonfire AND NOT stopping it or at least investigate what might be in the bonfire. I really enjoyed it up until then. What a terrible letdown.
I was distracted by wondering what’s wrong with male lead dar salim’s eyes. Is one of them artificial? Is he cross eyed?
Why was the cop telling his daughter that story on her wedding day? Who is she marrying? Is there any connection to the other characters?
That’s exactly what I was wondering? And why was the detective limping in the end?
