Love Take Two Episode 6 Recap

The episode opens with Ji-an rushing Hyo-ri to the hospital after she falls unconscious once again. Regretting her past choices whenever Hyo-ri was sick, she decides to look forward and only think about Hyo-ri’s happiness from then on, promising to never repeat her past mistakes. Meanwhile, Bo-hyeon and Jeong-seok get a surprise visitor when his mother suddenly turns up and are left more surprised when she asks to stay at their place.

On the other hand, Ji-an and Hyo-ri run into Moon-hee, and although Ji-an is uninterested in her help, it turns out that she can ease Hyo-ri’s pain quite a bit. Elsewhere, Yeo-jeong makes friends with the villagers who easily fall for her charms. Later on, Ji-an learns that Moon-hee was a doctor at the hospital and has now arranged for a private room for Hyo-ri. She eventually also learns about her daughter’s and husband’s deaths and is left heartbroken at the woman’s misfortunes.

When Ji-an and Hyo-ri are on their way back to the room, they suddenly come across Moon-hee again, but this time she is completely confused and delirious, and the two women decide to help her and she spends the night in Hyo-ri’s room. The next morning, the three women meet Hyo-ri’s doctor, who immediately changes his tune in front of Moon-hee and tries to push the surgery forward. The two women can’t help but enjoy the connections.

Later on, after Moon-hee discharges Hyo-ri from the hospital, the two women thank her thoroughly, and Hyo-ri even mentions that it’s been great having a grandmother again. They continue to share a sweet relationship as they go back home, and Ji-an can’t help but beam at her daughter. Later on, Ji-an and Sun-yeong force Moon-hee out of her house to have a meal together and are delightfully playful as the two pull each other’s legs.

However, things don’t go as well for Hyo-ri, who overhears Bo-hyeon telling So-yeon that he pities her and thus wants to stay close to her. Confused and angry as well, she calls Ji-an to ask her whether she should get what she wants or give up and without context, Ji-an tells her to forge right ahead no matter what. With that in mind, she rushes to meet him and, after the two rush to safety from the rain, Hyo-ri confesses her feelings to Bo-hyeon.

Well, what a heartwarming turn of events. Although I was a bit miffed about the last episode, with everyone bullying Ji-an to forgive her alleged mother, I can now say that everything is back to where it should be, and I like the relationship between Ji-an, Hyo-ri and Moon-hee. It’s sweet, heartbreaking and a whole lot of warm, and although I should be more interested in the romantic storyline, I can say with 100% certainty that I would love to watch where the relationship between the women goes.

On the other hand, Oh Na-ra joins the cast in this episode, and I can’t say that I am not excited. Although I do feel like her character is unnecessary and forced. All in all, another very enjoyable episode that tugs at your heartstrings!
