Love Tactics: All About Netflix’s Upcoming Turkish Romantic Drama

Netflix’s upcoming Turkish romantic drama Aşk Taktikleri, also known as Love Tactics is a much-awaited film for fans of Turkish Cinema. The trailer was first revealed on January 28, 2022. It is one of the domestic production ventures of the popular streaming service. With the success of the previous Turkish films and series by Netflix, the fans are eagerly waiting for new and more such stories. My Father’s Violin, Love 101, The Protector are some of the many popular Turkish contents available in the streaming service.

Love Tactics is directed by Emre Kabakusak who is known for his works in The Ambassador’s Daughter and Sen Anlat Karadeniz and written by Pelin Karamehmetoglu. It is described as a goofy, romantic comedy circling around a young guy and girl who has zero expectations when it comes to loving someone. Due to this, they come up with weird ‘tactics’ which might not get the expected results.

Love Tactics Cast:

The leads of this Turkish romantic comedy are Demet Özdemir and Şükrü Özyıldız. The other cast members include Atakan Çelik, Doğukan Polat, Özgür Ozan, Deniz Baydar, Hande Yılmaz, Ecem Atalay and Yasemin Yazıcı.

Love Tactics Plot/ Synopsis:

The story is about a cynical ad executive and an anti-romantic fashion designer/ blogger who makes a deal, that they can make the other one fall in love much faster. They come up with unusual tactics to entice each other which kind of leads to a competition. They both have the notion of love not being true, thus colliding which sometimes results in drawing each other’s attention by strange gestures and their elaborate antics.

Love Tactics Release Date, Trailer and More:

The Turkish romantic comedy Love Tactics is all set to release in this Valentine’s Week on February 11, 2022. It will be available on Netflix worldwide for viewing. Netflix describes the film as “An ad executive and a fashion designer-blogger don’t believe in love, so they place a bet to make the other fall head over heels — with unusual tactics.”
