With the release date drawing near, the latest Love Song for Illusion Stills provides a tantalising glimpse into Park Ji-hoon’s character, promising an exhilarating journey. Directed by Lee Jung-sub, this Historical Romance Drama, titled 환상연가, stars Park Ji-hoon as Sa Jo-hyun / Ak Hee, alongside Hong Ye-ji as Yeon-wol, Ji-woo as Jin Chae-ryeon, Kim Dong-won as Yang Jae-yi, Shin Gi-hwan as Hong Goon, Hwang Hee as Sa Jo-yong, and others.

Adapted from the webtoon of the same name by Vanziun. The story of the drama revolves around kingdom’s clandestine world, where Crown Prince Sa jo-hyun leads a double life as an artistic commoner, haunted by a tragic past, and an enigmatic persona cursed with a touch that inflicts agony. Yeon-wol, an assassin seeking retribution for her fallen dynasty, becomes embroiled in a plot that robs her of her memories. Her path converges with the prince’s as she navigates a newfound life within the palace walls.

The latest stills showcase Park Ji-hoon in an astonishing portrayal as the crown prince, emanating poise, intelligence, and composure. His character, Sa Jo-hyun, adeptly employs his natural artistic flair while concealing his identity to work as a fashion designer in a downtown boutique. In contrast, the subsequent image introduces Ak Hee, a character starkly different from Hyun. Ak Hee exudes an aura of intense anger, accompanied by a deadly allure that captivates others. However, his captivating presence comes with a curse—he experiences excruciating pain upon physical contact with anyone.

The historical romance drama series Love Song for Illusion is scheduled to consist of 16 episodes in total. It will be available on KBS2 every Monday and Tuesday, starting from January 2, 2024.
