Love is Blind After the Altar Season 3 Review: Please Stop This

Love is Blind is a reality dating TV series hosted by Nick and Vanessa Lachey. Love is Blind After the Altar season 3 takes place a year after the events of season 3 and has 3 episodes, each with a runtime of around 40-45 minutes.

Netflix describes the series as:

NICK AND VANESSA LACHEY HOST THIS SOCIAL EXPERIMENT WHERE SINGLE MEN AND WOMEN LOOK FOR LOVE AND GET ENGAGED, ALL BEFORE MEETING IN PERSON.

I don’t know why I keep coming back to Love is Blind. It’s like a toxic relationship that I simply can’t get out of. You know that it’s bad for you, but here you are back for some more. That’s what Love is Blind is for me – it’s horrible and toxic and just so boring. For a reality TV show that is about relationships, the series is extremely bland, and they drone on and on about the most mundane things as if it’s oh-so scandalous.

I rant because Love is Blind After the Altar season 3 is just so made up and scripted that it doesn’t feel anything even remotely interesting. And you can see the fact that they are not genuine, and things are made up a bit too clearly. It’s a problem with every episode and every season of the show. When you take away the reality aspect of the show, you are left with just another scripted mess that wants to sell us a toxic dream.

As most of the viewers would be excited to see, we get Bartise and Zanab just doling out the toxicity during Alexa’s party and acting like they deserve something when they have been nothing but extremely volatile and, frankly, manipulative. But then again, I am sure the editing team has done a splendid job of keeping things not fair either way.

So what do I say about After the Altar season 3? There’s nothing new or entertaining or remotely dramatic. It’s like a wet sock that stinks. I don’t understand the point since we don’t learn anything new in the newest three episodes os like… it’s just awkward to watch and so confusing.
