Loner Life in Another World Episode 3 Recap
Haruka has now taken on the role of the girls’ protector, feeling it’s his responsibility to shield them from dangers—whether from humans or the wild creatures lurking in the forest. The girls, lacking the strength to defend themselves, rely on him as he demonstrates how to defeat a beast with his sheer physical power. Unfortunately, he dispatches the creature with such ease that it doesn’t really serve as much of a lesson. Later, when he tries to teach them how to use elemental powers for defence, his overwhelming strength leaves the girls no wiser, as he appears unbeatable.
The group eventually decides that the best course of action is to leave the forest and head toward the nearest town. However, they’re still haunted by the threat of delinquents, whose sinister goal is to capture the girls and use their evil abilities against them. That night, Haruka crosses paths with a group of Jocks, who provide him with crucial information. They reveal that the delinquents possess a dangerous skill known as “hijack,” which allows them to kill someone and absorb all their abilities, in addition to their puppeteer and charm skills.

In this episode, Haruka’s natural leadership shines through. He acts like a vigilant guardian, ensuring the group’s safety, guiding them along their journey, and providing for their needs. This marks a shift in the story as we begin to see more characters beyond just the schoolmates, hinting at new adventures and, hopefully, more action to come.
Loner Life in Another World Episode 4 Review

Here we have our hero, who finally manages to get the girls to safety, and now he can return to his abode. He travels the town and witnesses all the good things he can get there. The girls are also ecstatic about their new civilised life in the town after living without basic amenities in the forest. They can now buy clothes and food and also feel safe from the boys hunting for them. But the first thing that they must do is get their names entered as adventurers so that they can live in the town officially.

Haruka, on the other hand, gets called by the head of the guild he saved on his way. He thought he would be reprimanded, but thankfully, he was lauded for his work and was vehemently thanked. Now it was his time to get his name in as an adventurer as well. However, here is where things go wrong. Even though he is pretty powerful and has the survival skills to back that up, his level is not that high.
Sadly, to have the adventurer status, one must at least be on level 10, which our hero lacks. Still, not everything is lost. When he goes to sell all the crystals he gathered after defeating all the monsters, he makes an ample amount of money. But again, due to some twist of fate, he also loses all of it within a day. Now, he has a lot of unknown materials at his disposal which he might or might not need.
Verdict

In this episode, we understand that Haruka is slowly becoming more accepting of people than before. It is apparent that he enjoys all the attention he gets from the girls. I am also sure he will end up on the harem route in the end, whether he wants it or not.
