Little Women (작은 아씨들) is a Korean mystery thriller drama that revolves around the predicament faced by three sisters. The story follows their journey after they find themselves in the midst of a major incident that changes their lives forever. Directed by Kim Hee-won and written by Jung Seo-kyung, the drama stars Kim Go-eun, Nam Ji-hyun, Park Ji-hoo, Wo Ha-joon, alongside other cast members.
The 12 episodes show premiered on September 3, 2022, and releases new episodes every Saturday and Sunday at 9 PM KST on tvN taking over the timeslot previously occupied by Alchemy of Souls. Little Women episode 6 has a run time of 72 minutes.
Netflix’s synopsis of the series reads:

Little Women episode 6 starts off with In-kyung being rebuked by her now ex-subordinate Jang Ma-ri because of her behaviour at Jae-sang’s conference. On the other hand, In-ju questions Hyo-rin about the footage making the latter recall the events that took place at home on the very day Hwa-young died.
In-ju wishes to get her hands on the footage but Hyo-rin warns her that she will kill herself if the former tries to take it from her. Elsewhere, In-kyung leaves the conference after sharing the details regarding Jae-sang’s father’s properties.
Later that night, In-ju tries to steal the footage but is caught by In-hye who stops and rebukes her which leaves In-ju speechless. She soon storms out of there and makes her way to Hwa-young’s place. On the way she is seen by Soo-im who follows behind to see what she is up to.
However, we soon realise that this is bait she has thrown for Soo-im to check if she was among the people who came to destroy evidence against Jae-sang after Hwa-young’s death.

In the secret room, the two girls hide the chip containing the footage as In-hye tells Hyo-rin to trust no one but herself. The next day, Hye-suk give Jae-sang a visit and talks about the past that these two share. She then tells him to let go of the incident created by In-kyung because they both need to survive while relying on each other.
Later, Do-il asks her why she had to go to Hwa-young’s place when Soo-im is already suspicious of her. She tells him that she had to check something there as she suspects Jae-sang was the one behind Hwa-young’s death.
Do-il tells her that there is nothing surprising in this, but if she tries to obstruct Jae-sang’s road to becoming the mayor then they will not be able to get the money. Later the same day, Jae-sang holds a press conference to answer the questions raised by In-kyung.
He lets the press know that the properties belonged to a secret fund that his father-in-law had kept and while they were under his father’s name, his father still lived a poor life. The true value of this fund was 20 billion won and upon finding out about it after his father-in-law fell into a coma, they directed this money to their foundation which supports talents around the country.
This shocks everyone and at the same time, Ma-ri asks if In-kyung’s sister was also supported by this fund to which he gives no comments. In-kyung is already in shock upon seeing In-hye standing with the Park family and later when she tries to call her, In-hye turns her back on In-kyung and leaves.
This leaves In-kyung in an even greater shock and while she is surrounded by the press which is criticizing her, In-ju appears and takes her away.

The two women then make their way to Hye-suk’s place where In-kyung starts questioning her aunt about her involvement with the Park and Won families. Her aunt tells them that life back then wasn’t easy for a woman and she did what she had to do. Now, her company is in danger and needs to be protected before a storm shuts it down.
She also has to protect them at the same time because the person she is investigating is dangerous and they need to stay away from him. In-kyung is unable to bear this and storms out.
Elsewhere, Jae-sang is pleased by the result of the recent events which have brought an increase in his popularity while Sang-a shows her thankfulness for In-kyung’s behaviour which brought about this result.
Soo-im then brings out the topic of In-ju and wants to harm her but is stopped by Sang-a and Do-il who assure Jae-sang that she is needed. Unable to do anything about this, Soo-im suspects Do-il and In-ju’s relationship and tells him that she does not believe that he can prioritise anything other than money.
She once again warns him that she will not let him go if In-ju harms their motives but Do-il brushes it off by warning her of opening up about her recent shenanigans to Jae-sang.
Elsewhere, In-kyung tries to find out more about the properties under Jae-sang’s father’s name but soon finds out that her aunt has already destroyed everything related to these properties.
On the other hand, In-ju visits Sang-a at the hospital where her father is admitted, where she asks In-ju to go to Singapore for her. She is to take part in the Orchid Festival on her behalf as she places her bid anonymously. During this she also lets her know of the money laundering that takes place behind the scenes at this festival.

In-ju asks her if this is something Hwa-young would do for her and why she trusts that In-ju won’t do the same to which Sang-a simply tells her that she has her sisters who are her weakness. She then asks In-ju about her dream and the latter tells her that she just wanted to marry a rich man which makes Sang-a laugh.
She then gives In-ju a blue orchid and tells her to keep it by her bedside the same night when it is to bloom. She then tells her that In-ju should definitely go to Singapore as she can gain ten per cent of whatever she earns there along with extra benefits. And if she succeeds in her work there then she will put In-ju’s orchid on the Father tree which protects the dreams of the flowers that it carries.
This will also make her a part of the International Orchid Society which is also known as the Jeongran Society. Elsewhere, In-kyung finds an old photo of her aunt with several people and behind it is written the words- Jeongran Society.
Inside the secret room, In-hye asks Hyo-rin to close her eyes and try to concentrate on the memory that she drew while breathing in the scent of the blue orchid.
On the other hand, Do-il notices the flower In-ju is carrying and recognises it. He tries to convince her to stay away from the flower but In-ju does not agree with him and tells him that she needs time to think about what she really wants.
She takes the flower into her room and takes in a breath of the scent that it excuses. After this, she makes her way to Hye-suk’s office where she puts forth an offer to bring down Jae-sang.
Little Women Episode 6 Ending
Little Women episode 6 ends with In-kyung calling for Jong-ho as she tries to find out more about the Jeongran Society and the one piece of land that was owned by general Won, Jae-sang’s father and also her aunt. She soon finds out that most of the members of this society are found dead due to unnatural causes which only grows their suspicion.

Back at Hye-suk’s place, In-ju keeps trying to convince her to stand against Jae-sang and not only bring him down but also take away all the wealth owned by him. She tells her about the orchid and also shows her the painting drawn by Hyo-rin which contains the same orchid.
She then tries to ask her aunt if she knows anything about the orchid but soon she finds herself feeling sleepy and has to bring the conversation to an end. She then goes back to bed but after a series of nightmares, she wakes up and stares at the orchid in her room.
This is followed by scenes of her walking inside the house which looks like she is sleepwalking while carrying the orchid in her hand. While Hyo-rin speaks about seeing a set of stairs and then taking In-hye to the place she thinks she just saw, In-ju too is seen in front of a set of stairs after which she makes her way to Hye-suk’s office.
Later, In-kyung returns to her aunt’s house but notices that something is not right. She soon calls out to her aunt and rushes to Hye-suk’s office where a gruesome scene awaits her.
There she sees In-jo sitting next to a dead Hye-suk who seems to have been hit by a rod. As In-ju sits beside her in the pool of blood, a lone blue orchid is also stained by her blood.
Little Women Episode 6 Review
I have to say, Little Women is a show that knows exactly how to bring an unforgettable ending that only makes us want more. This episode brought such a shocking ending that the week-long wait ahead of us seems way too long.
The smooth shift between the scenes and the beautiful shots that have been taken once again leave us sitting on the edge of our chairs. But there is nothing that could top the ending that was shocking yet beautiful.
On the other hand, Sang-a is slowly revealing a side of her that is so dangerous and if I had to make a guess then I would think that she is behind Hye-suk’s death. Coming to which, this badass aunt will definitely be missed.
Altogether, reaching halfway through this show, I have to say that this show is a must-watch because it is not just beautiful but also has a powerful plot and amazing cast.
