Little Women episode 12 marks the end of our beloved Kdrama that took us on one thrilling ride that we cannot forget. Keeping its idea of bringing plot twists in every episode right till the end, the finale too did not miss out on shocking us by revealing the true character of Oh In-hye.
Little Women is a Korean thriller directed by Kim Hee-won and written by Jung Seo-kyung, the drama stars Kim Go-eun, Nam Ji-hyun, Park Ji-hoo, Wi Ha-joon, alongside other cast members. It revolves around the predicament faced by the three sisters as they find themselves deep into a web created by the rich and powerful.
Episode 12 showed the Oh sisters finally making their way out of the doll house Sang-a had set up for them while welcoming peaceful days ahead. However, there’s a lot more that has happened towards the end of this episode and we’re here to explain it in detail.

Little Women Episode 12 Ending Explained
Towards the end of the Little Women finale episode, In-kyung finally fulfils her wish of exposing the Jeongran Society to the world. However, she too is able to understand why they came into existence and sympathizes with the soldiers who were once left to die. As the General also breathes his final breath, all he wanted to hide was that the soldiers who returned had already lost their souls in the deep forests of Vietnam.
In-ju sees off Do-il to the airport where he once again confirms if she will join him in Greece, but she tells him that she has nothing to do there and is also broke. Do-il gives her a knowing smile while she then asks him if he is really going to live without a phone and email which he confirms.
She wants to keep in contact with him but is aware that she won’t be able to know that he is going to be cutting himself off from everything for some time. Aware of what she wants to say, he tells her that they will meet again soon for sure and leaves.
She later goes to visit Hwa-young and asks her about her well-being. The latter later talks about her app which has been going good and that some people have come to visit her in order to buy the app. In-ju supports her in selling the app and tells her to save money for when she comes out.
Hwa-young tells her that she too deserves a share but In-ju rejects it and tells her that she was the one who worked hard for it and all In-ju gave was her name.
She then makes her way back home where she receives a mail about taxation on the gift that she has received. Upon searching for which gift has hit her with such a large tax amount, she finds out that her aunt had left the apartment she took her to in her name. She makes her way to the apartment and while she remembers her aunt’s words, she breaks into tears.
She is aware that she will no longer be the same person and will have to live with all the trauma that has accumulated because of recent events. Elsewhere, In-kyung is offered a job at a news station but she rejects it and tells Jong-ho that she will be joining him when he leaves for the States.
Jong-ho realises what she has said and asks her if she feels the same way he does, and she agrees. The two share a kiss and are ready for the new journey ahead of them.
Later, during dinner with her sister, In-kyung asks In-ju what she will be doing about the gift tax. In-ju tells her that she will be taking a loan to pay for the gift tax which In-kyung doesn’t agree with. She suggests that In-ju sells off the apartment but In-ju disagrees and tells her that she has always dreamed of this and will not sell it.
In-ju then tells her that she will be helping in paying for her studies abroad because she doesn’t want In-kyung to always rely on Jong-ho. She will make sure that In-kyung is able to peacefully study whatever she wants this time and make up for her past regrets.
They then start discussing their mother’s recent spamming on the family chat group and grumble about how she doesn’t know anything about them. They then continue to talk about In-hye and are saddened that she hasn’t even called.
The scene then shifts to In-hye, Hyo-rin and Do-il entering a bank while In-hye narrates her message to her sisters as she tells them that on Hyo-rin’s birthday they have made a trip to the bank to withdraw the 70 billion won.
Recalling the incident of the night when In-hye and Hyo-rin decided to run away but were caught by Do-il who asked them for a favour. He asked them for Hyo-rin’s account details so that he can safeguard the 70 billion won while In-hye strikes the deal by taking the opportunity to divide the money herself.
Do-il has now received 10 billion won in his share while In-hye divides her share among her sisters. As she walks down a beautiful place with Hyo-rin, In-hye recalls how much she has always received from her sisters but was always living in fear of not being able to give back.

Now that she is able to pay them back for everything they’ve given her, she wishes to paint all the faces she has loved and promises to return home one day.
She sends 10 billion won to In-kyung and hopes that she will be able to study as much as she wants without having to worry about the money. She sends In-ju 30 billion won and hopes that she is able to live for herself this time. Returning the money that originally belonged to In-ju she wishes for her to buy an apartment for herself only and do what she wants.
With these wishes for her sisters, In-hye closes the show with peace and the hope that she will meet them again.
Conclusion
Little Women episode 12 brought to us a peaceful ending for the Oh sisters who have completely changed from what we saw in the beginning. The recent events have left some trauma, some strength and a personality that is the same yet different from their previous ones.
However there are some questions that we cannot ignore; with the money in her hand, will In-ju finally run behind Do-il and meet him again soon? Will In-ju meet her sisters again? Is this really the end of Jeongran Society?
There are a lot of questions, however, this ending has without a doubt left us at peace.

Agree, there are more questions to ask. However, will there be season 2 to portray happiness within a family including their parents?
I would like to see a few more episodes as there were a couple of questions that were not answered. Such as InJoo and Do Il getting together as they should. Otherwise it was very enjoyable
Hopefully we get a 2nd Season just like they did with Yumi Cells which btw Kim Go Eun is in in. This drama had me on the edge of my seat all 12 episodes. Loved it!
I really need closure for Do il and In-joo ???? I ship them so much and there was so much build up when that one lady kept insisting he must love In-joo.
The ending where In-hye was recalling how her sisters provided for her, she was so high up on her horse after divying up the proceeds to her sisters; as if she worked for that money, it was not even kept in her own account for safe keeping????
I think there will be no other seasons. Coz little women is about the issue of stolen money/ embezlment. Since the issue and the antagonists are dead, the story has ended too
I think the fact that do il assures in Joo that he will come back means that he does intend to pursue her. Maybe after a time off but it’s not a never ever. Plus I think though it’s obvious that do il has fallen for in Joo, i did not get the feeling that she loves him back. Or maybe she is just too preoccupied to realise it yet. Either way those two need to heal before they can venture out on a romance.
The case is closed so no need for another episode. Unless we wanna see that crazy boot licker of won sanga and park jae sang go on some crazy revenge.
