Letter is the new music video featuring GOT7’s Jinyoung as a solo artist. The song was unveiled on January 26, 2023, at 6 PM KST. The latest track is included in the singer’s first official solo album, Chapter 0: WITH released on January 18, 2023. The song represents feelings of longing and past relationships.
The 28-year-old artist has been part of the popular K-pop band since 2014 under JYP Entertainment. However, the group’s activities halted temporarily after the members decided to switch companies, including himself. After parting ways with JYPE, the singer signed a new contract with BH Entertainment in November 2022.

The three minutes thirty-seven seconds long music video showcases Jinyoung in a sombre setting where he reminisces about his former lover. In an enclosed space, the artist shows off his brilliant acting skills, which is bound to connect and move the audience. Melancholic feelings are represented by surrounding the room with blue light, which creates a peaceful ambience.
Further into the video, Jinyoung is seen carrying a handful of letters and placing them safely on the counter. It shows how the letters are not meant to be sent, but it is just a gentle symbolic reminder to himself about his experiences in life. Later, the four walls of the room fall apart, and a warm light glows, which displays the removal of negative feelings and welcoming the better things that await him.

The artist is known for his many talents, songwriting and acting being a few of them. He started his acting career with A Stray Goat in 2016, and after much persistence, he landed the lead role in He Is Psychometric in 2019. However, he gained immense popularity from his role in The Devil Judge, which premiered in 2019.
Nevertheless, his passion for creating music has always stayed with him and assures his fans to release more albums in the near future. The group also made a full comeback in 2022 and is planning to release more songs this year.
