Lady Voyeur Ending Explained: Who Dies in the End? What All is Revealed to Miranda?
An unfortunate fate struck Miranda’s best friend Rita right at the beginning of the last episode titled “The Past Is Outside, The Future Is in Here” as she was murdered. Later, her killer is revealed to be Miranda’s new next-door neighbour, Paulo, who was also engaged in the sex trafficking wing with Vittoria, Cleo’s new-found mother. Yes, that happened too.
Paulo joins in as an accomplice to Cleo’s plan which was all about tormenting Miranda despite their initial supposed friendship. Turns out, it was her plan since the very beginning to settle right across Miranda’s apartment and let here peek into her life. She knew she’d be intrigued by her ways and make the most of the moment when she asked her to look after her pet dog Barbie in her absence.

After kidnapping Miranda, Cleo brings her back to her old childhood house where she witnessed several accidents that left her distraught and traumatised forever. Cleo recounts all those old memories about her mother’s death and every other intricate detail that Miranda never shared with anyone before. She finally outs her true identity as her sister, Gabriela, and she’s brought back to her senses as she realises that her grandmother wasn’t lying about her being alive after all.
Her old haunting memories start jogging again and in the flashback we see her mother’s murderer walk up to her memorial. Teenage Miranda confronts him about showing up there and he kidnaps her too. Taking her back to his place, he ties her up, where a young Rita and her mother also turn up eventually. Rita’s mother used to be that man’s lover, but once Miranda frees herself, she walks up to Rita and confesses about all his bad deeds in order to flee from there.
Miranda convinces Rita’s mother of his bad character as well but as they’re packing up to go, the woman is killed in the altercation. Miranda had somehow contacted the police and they arrived just in time to save the young girls, while Rita and Miranda unite as sisters for life and promise to stay by each other’s side forever.

Back to the present day, Rita’s boyfriend, Rafael picks up Paulo and tortures him to get some answers about his girlfriend’s murder. He divulges the truth about Cleo being the mastermind and her having planned it all to ruin Miranda’s life.
Cleo, on the other hand, keeps dealing more truth bombs to Miranda in the meantime. She reveals that she’d joined forces with Fernando as he’d hoped to exact revenge on Heitor while she worked her way up against her own sister. It’s also disclosed that Diana was pregnant with Fernando’s child before she died and she’d been the one to kill Bernardo as he’d seen them together back during their young days.

Fernando and Diana were believed to have been siblings, however, Vittoria lets down the facade and ungratefully reveals that Diana had been adopted, which completely shatters the young girl’s heart. So, then, who really killed Diana? Fernando did. All these twists and turns may be tiring, but that sums up the entire series, doesn’t it?

To sum it up, Fernando killed her because he fell head over heels for her and once she outs the truth that they’re not really siblings, he thinks that they can finally be together. (yes, you read that right) However, during their past outing with friends, she’d merely gotten together with him in the heat of the moment to escape thoughts about her not having a real family, but he confused it otherwise. Both of them engage in a heated argument which ends with Fernando attacking her and drowning her in the pool, the same way she’d killed his friend in the past.
Moving back to the scene with Cleo and Miranda, the former was all set to kill her sister in the moment, but the latter is saved by police chief Ines Cardoso and her team. Cleo is shot dead and Miranda moves back to the police headquarters where the detectives confirm that it was Fernando who died during the squabble between him and Heitor.
With Heitor still alive, Miranda moves in with him. Her results for the probability of her disease striking come back extremely high, and even though they endanger not only her life, but also her future daughter, she’s no longer scared of anything and moves on with her life with a hopeful fervour.
Lady Voyeur is now streaming on Netflix.
