Kumari Srimathi Synopsis/Plot
In the trailer, Kumari Srimathi presents the life of a 30-year-old single woman, named Srimathi, and her dysfunctional family. It unfolds in a secluded village in East Godavari, where Srimathi, in contrast to her family’s wishes, harbours no desire for marriage due to her age. Instead, her heart is set on acquiring a home for herself. However, a revelation shatters her plans as she discovers that the house they reside in belongs to her uncle, who intends to sell it. Determined, she assures her uncle that she’ll promptly reimburse him and transfer the property into her name.
Srimathi, a resolute woman, embarks on a courageous journey to establish a bar and restaurant in her village, endeavouring to reclaim her ancestral abode. Yet, the entire village opposes the notion of a woman running a bar, setting the stage for a series of comical escapades. Witness Srimathi’s indomitable spirit as she triumphs over a host of societal and moral obstacles along the way.
