Kubo Won’t Let Me Be Invisible Episode 5 Preview: When, Where and How to Watch!

Kubo Won’t Let Me Be Invisible Episode 5 is the fifth episode of a sweet and unique romance anime airing as part of the Winter 2023 season. Kubo Won’t Let Me Be Invisible is a romance and comedy anime directed by Kazuomi Koga and based on a manga written by Nene Yukimori. The series is being animated by Studio Pine Jam and is also known as Kubo-san wa Mob wo Yurusanai Episode 5.

High school student Junta Shiraishi has a simple goal—to live a fulfilling youth. However, achieving this goal appears to be harder than expected, as everyone in his surroundings often fails to notice him due to his lack of presence. Shiraishi’s lack of presence is so severe that people think his seat in class is always empty and mistakenly assume that he often skips school. A weird rumour is spreading in class, claiming that those who successfully spot Shiraishi will be blessed with good fortune for the day.

So far, the only person who notices his existence is Nagisa Kubo, the girl seated next to him. Unfortunately for him, though, Kubo likes to tease him daily and often puts him into unprecedented and nerve-wracking situations. However, as Kubo’s playful antics continue to involve the reluctant Shiraishi, he may soon discover that his youth might not be as boring as he initially thought. (Via MAL Rewrite)

Kubo Won’t Let Me Be Invisible Episode 5 Plot

With every passing week, the show gets more of a grip on what it wants its characters to act like and the kind of stories it wants to tell. Thus, the quality of it has also become stabilised over the past two episodes, and I hope that trend continues with this episode. It will be interesting to see the slice-of-life tales it chooses to tell in the episode, as we are already done with valentines day while it’s still two weeks out in real life.

More sibling interactions, please! They are easily the best parts of the whole show and have carried each episode they have been a part of. It is clear that the writer writes sibling dynamics well and in a way that seems realistic without being too contentious. Let’s hope to see more of the same in this scenario. We will probably also see some more characters introduced in the show sometime soon, but it is impossible to predict when.

Kubo Won’t Let Me Be Invisible Episode 5 Predictions

Well, there isn’t much to say still. How do you predict what is going to happen in a slice of life? Why do you want predictions about this anyways? Rather weird of you, to be honest. I guess it’ll be funny? Tug at your heartstrings a bit, just like your standard romantic slice-of-life anime? Maybe?

Kubo Won’t Let Me Be Invisible Episode 4 Recap

Seita and Junta spend some time at the park, where Junta treats his brother with a transformation pose that Nagisa captures. The two meet up in school as Junta accidentally wears the wrong pair of socks and is spared by everyone due to his invisibility, except Kubo. The duo then go to a coffee shop that Kubo has never tried before, and then we quickly move forward to Valentine’s day. Nagisa and her sister spend a lot of time making cookies for Nagisa’s friends, especially Junta, but she isn’t able to reveal that she is the one who gave the cookie to him.
