Korean Dramas Releasing in July 2023: The second half of the year now begins, bringing new seasons to our favourite Kdramas along with new shows to keep us hooked! On the other hand, this month also brings the end of some of our favourite June dramas that touched our hearts.

The month begins with the return of a gripping crime drama that will bring you to the edge with its plot and the cast who bring the show to life. Shadow Detective season 2 continues the story of veteran homicide detective Kim Taek-rok who returns to find out the truth behind his blackmail caller Friend.
Directed by Han Dong-hwa who also directed season 1, the cast includes Lee Sung-min, Jung Jin-young, Kyung Soo-jin, Lee Hak-joo, Kim Shin-rok, and Joo Jin-mo alongside other cast members. The Kdrama will be available worldwide on Disney+.

July 17
Not Others
Next, we have a rom-com involving a mother-daughter duo who are set for a new life in their own hilarious way. Not Others is the story of a single mother and her daughter who bicker on every occasion available. However, their strong bond keeps them strong, even when they both look at a new love who soon enters their lives.
Directed by Lee Min-woo, the drama stars Jeon Hye-jin, Choi Soo-young, Ahn Jae-wook, Park Sung-hoon, Kim Hye-eun, and Park Jung-eon, alongside other cast members. The drama is set to broadcast on ENA.
July 24
My Lovely Liar
A supernatural rom-com with a dash of mystery is a wonderful way to get us hooked for a long time. My Lovely Liar brings these exact genres together with the story of a young woman with the ability to know when someone is lying and a murder suspect whom no one believes in.
Directed by Noh Young-sub and Nam Sung-woo, the drama stars Kim So-hyun, Hwang Min-hyun, Seo Ji-hoon, Yu Ji-on, Lee Si-woo, and Seo Hyun-chul, alongside other cast members. The drama is set to broadcast on tvN.

Longing For You
For all the action thriller lovers, July has got a murder mystery to keep you captivated for as long as the culprit is identified. Longing For You brings the story of a cheerful detective who investigates a murder wherein the culprit is his brother. While his brother is later deemed innocent and the real culprit is found, the unexpected murder of his brother becomes the beginning of some big changes.
Directed by Han Cheol-soo and Kim Yong-min, the drama stars Na In-woo, Kim Ji-eun, Kwon Yool, Bae Jong-ok, Lee Kyu-han, and Jung Sang-hoon alongside other cast members. The drama is set to broadcast on ENA.

D P Season 2
Back with an all-new season is the military action drama that had us all wanting more after 6-episode season 1. D P season 2 is back with more cases for Ahn Joon-ho that are ready to leave us stunned all over again.
Directed by Han Jun-hee, the drama stars Jung Hae-in, Koo Kyo-hwan, Kim Sung-kyun, Son Seok-koo, Kim Ji-hyun, and Go Kyung-pyo alongside other cast members. The Kdrama will be available for streaming on Netflix.
July 29
The Uncanny Counter 2
The counters return to capture more evil spirits who have come back from the afterlife for an immortal existence and this time the challenges take a step further. With new members joining the gang, the counters are ready for a counterattack and make the best of their tasks.
Directed by Yoo Seon-dong, the drama stars Cho Kyeong-kyu, Yoo Joon-sang, Kim Se-jeong, Yeom Hye-ran, Ahn Suk-hwan, and Yoo In-soo alongside other cast members. The drama is set to broadcast on tvN and will be available for streaming on Netflix.
