Koffee With Karan Season 8 Episode 2 Promo: Karan Johar Gives a Standing Ovation to Deol Brothers for Gadar 2’s Success

The promo for Koffee With Karan Season 8 Episode 2 is now out. The next guests on Karan Johar’s chat show are the Deol brothers, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol. They talk about the success of Gadar 2, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani and other related things.

As the promo shows, Karan asks Sunny what he meant when he said, “Ours are organic collections.” KJo asks if others are inflating box office numbers. The Gadar 2 actor answers, “I know that does happen. That’s the way society is moving right now. “ Karan further jokes that the tagline of his 2023 movie was Hindustan Ka Asli Blockbuster!

Bobby Deol shares about a conversation he had with Salman Khan: When the superstar’s career wasn’t working well, he got on his brother’s back and went ahead. Bobby jokes about how he requested Salman let him be on his back. Karan asks Bobby why his father, Dharmendra Deol, thinks he is chaalu, and the Love Hostel actor says he has no idea.

The brothers talk about Karan’s film Rocky Aur Rani, which also stars Dharmendra. They used to joke about how their father kissed in the movie, and everyone said it was cute. Karan asks the Deol brothers about their reaction to their father’s on-screen kiss with Shabana Azmi in RARKPK.

Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol have appeared on Koffee With Karan after almost 18 years. They first appeared on the chat show in 2005. The episode will stream on Disney+ Hotstar on November 2 from midnight.

On the work front, Sunny Deol will next star in Aamir Khan’s next production venture, Lahore 1947. It will be directed by Raj Kumar Santoshi. Bobby Deol will be seen in director Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal. The film also stars Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Shakti Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Prem Chopra, Tripti Dimri, and others. It is set to release in theatres on December 1, 2023.

The first guests of the show were Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh. The couple made their first appearance together on Karan’s show. DeepVeer talked in detail about their relationship, their secret proposal and how they realised they love each other. The couple also treated fans with a glimpse of their beautiful wedding with a video. Deepika and Karan also spoke about battling with depression and anxiety, and how Ranveer was by the actress’ side when she was not feeling herself back in 2014.
