Koffee With Karan 7 Episode 8 featured Kiara Advani and Shahid Kapoor, as they discuss Kabir Singh, some rib-tickling anecdotes, their individual struggles before gaining stardom and Kiara’s marriage. Some spoilers from the episode were already spilt by Karan Johan in the previous episode starring Sidharth Malhotra and Vicky Kaushal.
He had shown a compiled clip of Kiara Advani, telling it all about her relationship with Sidharth, while not trying to tell anything about it. But as we all saw, she failed miserably. Since then the fans have been swooning over the couple and finding clues about when they started dating. In the episode, Kiara revealed that they first met at the after-party of the film Lust Stories.
The episode was all about the duo, who displayed close friendship and won over the audience with their chemistry. Some even called them the besties who gossip all the time at the last bench of the classroom, even ignoring what is being taught by the teacher.
Karan Johar asked the actors about their popularly controversial film, Kabir Singh and Shahid Kapoor eloquently gave an answer that put all the questions to rest. He was also asked about his last film Jersey not doing well and the actor owned up to the failure and expressed his thoughts on the same.

However, the question about a film failing has made the audience wary of Johar’s intentions, as he didn’t ask the guest that came in the previous episodes, who had been in the same boat of films not performing well at the box office. Luckily, Shahid Kapoor handled it well and his fan are praising him for his quick-witted answer.
The episode may have been low on controversial gossip but is being liked for how the actors portrayed a playful image, like in the last round of slam zone by blocking each other from answering. Shahid even sabotaged Kiara from calling other people and increasing her score, by calling her instead. Shahid was already in the lead and with Kiara not being able to call anyone, he won the round eventually.
Overall, the episode fed all the Kiara and Sidharth shippers and gave them more material, like their phone call in the last segment. Now that both of them have been on the manifesting couch, many fans are hoping for this love ship to manifest into something more soon.
