Unfortunately, right then another article is released and this time with Sa-rang’s face in clear view. This makes them worried but Sa-rang assures them while Hwa-ran is happy that her plan is working well.

Elsewhere, Hwa-ran brings together the hotel’s board members to remove Gu Won from his position when Il-hoon barges into the meeting and fires Hwa-ran from King Hotel. Meanwhile, Gu Won visits Sa-rang’s grandmother with her and apologises for what happened in recent days.

Right then, the ladies from the market arrive and crowd around Gu Won who is the rich son-in-law of the locality. Back home, Il-hoon tells Gu Won to personally take care of the chain hotel project and go on business trips to make sure everything goes well. While their bond seems to be getting better, Il-hoon calls Sa-rang for lunch and “orders” her to leave for a quiet place for the time being.

Later, she meets Gu Won and hides what happened. Instead, the two go for a fun romantic evening at an amusement park which has been hired for the day by Gu Won. Thus, dressed up in school uniforms, the couple takes advantage of the silent amusement park to have fun before the two left on their trips.

King the Land Episode 14 Review

With this episode, we now approach the final week of this spectacular romantic drama that has been winning our hearts for the past few weeks. Episode 14 once again brings ups and downs in the lives of our protagonists, however, it also tries to show a different perspective of other characters.

Il-hoon too has done his task of playing the role of a difficult adult, and now it is time for the main couple to fight against all odds and come together for a happy ending. Once again, I appreciate how this Kdrama brings a more mature side of a relationship which is different from the typical romcoms that we have seen till now.

I really love the way Gu Won and Sa-rang handle their relationship and the scandal that came about without making too much of a fuss themselves. This really shows the progress in romcoms and we are loving this.

Altogether, this was yet another lovely episode and I can’t wait for the upcoming finale weekend of this show!
