The Revenge of Others actor Seo Ji-hoon is all set for his next role in the upcoming tale of a fortuneteller- King of Fortune Telling. The upcoming mystery fantasy is an adaptation of the popular webtoon I Became a Genius Fortune Teller and we are excited to see the actor in this new role that is mystical.
Earlier today, Seo Ji-hoon’s management agency revealed the news along with the message- “Seo Ji-hoon was cast in The King Of Fortune Telling. We ask for your interest.” The upcoming drama revolves around the character Geum Tae-young (Seok Ji-hoon) who tries to predict and change the fate of his clients through fortune-telling.
While Geum Tae-young wanted to be a writer, after the failure of his novel he meets the mysterious Myung Seung who lends him his fortune-telling hall for whatever he wants to do. As Myung Seung’s clients arrive to have their fortune read, Tae-young tells them that he is his pupil and helps them get a reading. He also goes ahead to help change their fate.

The upcoming drama is said to be the first of its kind which also means that the readers of the webtoon will find new characters and scenarios while watching this drama which has only added to their anticipation for what is to come. Bringing a fantasy hero in this mystery drama that has fortune telling is certainly one to look forward to and seeing Seo Ji-hoon in this new role will be a pleasure.
While we have witnessed this type of oriental fortune-telling in many Kdramas, what makes this drama different is that the whole plot is based on this theme. This will give us more insight into this mysterious world which makes us excited for the show.
However, the show is yet to begin filming and won’t be premiering any time soon in 2023. However, we have got Seo Ji-hoon’s Revenge of Others currently broadcasting and this too is a drama that is gaining huge popularity because the thriller is just that good.
As Seo Ji-hoon’s character Seok Jae-beom carries the key to solving the mysteries that have been hidden in this high school thriller, we are excited to see the twists and turns that the show will bring.
