Kim Seon-ho is one of the most popular and promising South Korean actors for whom, fans around the world are waiting to meet on-screen. Starting his TV debut with the drama Good Manager, he found his much-deserving success with the hit Netflix show Start-up. He has been a part of many more successful shows like Hometown Cha Cha Cha and even had a good run at the KBS variety show 2 Days 1 Night. While the actor might have stepped away from the spotlight for some time, everyone has been looking forward to his work quite eagerly.

Kim Seon-ho’s Upcoming Projects
The Childe (귀공자)
Making his debut on the big screen for the first time, the actor will be playing the titular in the upcoming action noir film directed by Park Hoon-jung, who has established himself as an unrivalled ‘noir film master’ in the Korean film industry through New World, Night in Paradise, and the Witch instalment.
The ensemble cast of the film includes Kim Seon-ho as Gwi Gong-ja, Kang Tae-joo as Marco, Kim Kang-woo, and Go Ara. The story will follow a mysterious man (Seon-ho) who seems to be determined to make Marco’s life hell. Played by a rookie actor, the character of Marco is a boxer with a Korean father and a Filipino mother who travels from one illegal arena to another in the Philippines, trying to make money.
So far only the poster of the film is released, in which Seon-ho’s silhouette is seen against the cold blue backdrop. However, the character seems nonchalant & whistling. Knowing the actor’s ability to pull everyone’s attention with his acting, it will be interesting to see him as a mysterious/slightly grey character and it’s already making us curious to know, what could be his motivation behind going after Marco.
It is scheduled to be released in June 2023 in theatres.

Tyrant
Tyrant is another upcoming action film by the same director as The Childe. Along with Seon-ho, famous actor and model Cha Seung-won & Kim Kang-woo will be also starring in the film. Titled 폭군 (pok-geun) in Korean, the story will follow a secret tyrant program which disappears due to a delivery accident. Because of that Lim Sang-won (Seung-won), a former agent tasked with eliminating everyone who was related to it.
It will be a chasing story as Seon-ho plays the role of a person who has been running the program unofficially, while Paul (Kang-woo), a member of an overseas intelligence is also looking to get rid of anyone slightly associated with the Tyrant program. The full cast is yet to be disclosed as the film is under production at the moment & is speculated to be released towards the end of the year or early 2024.
Earlier today, it was also reported that the actor donated 100 million won from his fan meeting to Korean Red Cross, for helping young people who are trying to become independent and stand on their own feet but are facing economic difficulties. It brings focus to various other good deeds, the actor has been a part of in the past, including supporting and helping victims of typhoons in Pohang, children suffering from incurable diseases etc.
