Hannah Gadsby: Something Special

The Peabody and Emmy award-winning comedian is back in this special to tell us stories that would make us feel good. In their own words, they explain that this show is going to be a romantic comedy, and they seem to be appalled by the notion, even remarking, “Yucky,” to cement just how out of the blue this whole ordeal is for them. You & Me & Me

Directed by twins, this movie is about twin sisters who are figuring out their lives together. Whether it be being a teenager or finding love, they are planning to do everything with each other. Now that Mark has been introduced to both of them, the only problem is that both of them like him, and he only likes one of them. Will this simple love interest drive the sisters apart? Or will they able to rise above it and take solace in each other’s company? Find out by streaming the film on Netflix.

Royalteen: Princess Margrethe

After the last film ended with such a bang vis a vis her sex tape, things have gotten much more difficult for her. She now not only has to do her duties as a princess but also as a woman, coming to terms with her identity. Family drama is just the beginning for Margrethe. People around her are becoming queens, and she is still stuck with a story that may go nowhere and completely ruin whatever autonomy she had over her life. Que Viva Mexico

In a sticky inheritance situation, the patriarch of the family leaves everything of value to his grandson Panchito, who has to dodge bullets with the rest of his family from the relatives hoping he would be kind about all of this. After realising that the situation is much worse than it seems, he has no choice but to entertain his family and keep up with their shenanigans if he has any desire to keep the long-awaited inheritance. Jennifer Lopez stars in this impeccably exciting action drama following her assassin character and her long-lost daughter who has been suddenly kidnapped. She now has to traverse difficult topographic features in the Alaskan wilderness to find her daughter and keep her safe. The only problem is that she has never seen her daughter before. This will be a bonding experience none of them asked for. Find out whether her character succeeds in keeping them both safe by streaming the film on Netflix.

Custody

With 48 hours in hand, Shiva, a police inspector, has to bring the gangster, Raazu, in order to present him in court. However, the latter’s rivals are so cutthroat that he must protect the man against other criminals ready to break his skull. Adding to these pressures, Shiva’s girlfriend Revati is also there ready to help out in case of any problems. Priyamani is also in this film, which would promise some serious drama, but the action is what will take the cake. Catch this film in theatres.

Based on the war with Pakistan in 1971, this film follows the true events leading up to the war when the oppositional country also had China’s support in the military efforts. With India completely unready to take this kind of responsibility up, they had a man who suggested something so controversial and innovative that it gave Indian defenders the opportunity to rally their troops. It is a film that explores war effort as a collaboration. Catch the film in theatres.

Jogira Sara Ra Ra

Jogi is someone who can cut corners really well and since he is a wedding planner, his business has been booming. However, word of his efforts to make relationships has gone far and wide, especially to a woman in his own locality hoping to have her marriage broken. Featuring Neha Sharma and Nawazuddin Siddique, this movie explores how she’s able to get rid of the suitor and the pressures of her parents by a single effort. Will it bite them back? To Catch a Killer

An Olympic-level marksman and a New York beat cop engage in a tussle to be found out. Since the squad has absolutely no idea what happened, why it happened or who did it, their only consolation is that they may have found a strategy that would answer all these questions. Love Again

When Mira loses the love of her life, she cannot get over him. Texting his old number is the only way she can keep him alive in her life. But when a cynic on love is assigned this number and starts receiving these texts, he is unable to shake them off. He keeps reading these messages from her and feels like they have something to tell him, even if they’re not meant for him. When he meets her for the first time, sparks fly, and she believes that this might be a real attempt at finding love, unlike the experiences she’s had before.

To have a final hurrah with her friends before her wedding, Vivian goes to her bachelorette party in Italy, where she realises that while she may be getting married, she has still got it as a woman. Right from the South by Southwest film festival comes this origin story for the Blackberry, the mobile phone that took the world by storm in the early 2010s. Shot in a mockumentary style with barrels of humour, this film explores how two normal-looking immature boys share their big ideas to corporate giants in order to gain traction for their work. Rally Road Racers

Seeing the brilliance of the car racing world, this young racer wants to make his debut in the silk road race, and for that, he takes the help of a retired racer turned car mechanic.
