Kill Bill 3: Maya Hawke Reacts to Threequel Rumours

‘Stranger Things’ alumni Maya Hawke’s words cannot go unnoticed in the industry, especially being the child of the iconic actors Ethan Hawke and Uma Thurman. It is all the more prevalent now after Quentin Tarantino has carefully teased the audience about a part three he doesn’t mind making when it comes to the ‘Kill Bill’ film series. Keeping that in mind, the first few names to pop up for the threequel is, of course, Beatrix ‘The Bride’ Uma Thurman’s daughter Maya Hawke. With the long-gestating rumours about the potential ‘Kill Bill 3,’ Maya has finally given us some reaction to contemplate.

In a recent interview, Maya Hawke was seen acknowledging the fact that she would love to work with Tarantino. We have previously seen Maya being a part of Tarantino’s ‘Once Upon A Time In Hollywood’ where she was a part of the Manson Family at the ranch. Thus, this collaboration would not be something absolutely out of the blue.

The interview which was surrounding the promotion of her film ‘Mainstream’ was with The Guardian where she reacted to the rumours by saying, “Quentin is on his own darn schedule. He’ll do what he wants when he damn well wants. But I’ve known him my whole life and if he ever wanted to work with me again, of course, I would love to.” As per the director, he has already made it clear previously how he will be excited to cast Hawke in this legendary franchise.

It is since 2019 that Tarantino has talked about the potential of having a third ‘Kill Bill’ film and casting “Uma and her [real-life] daughter Maya” as The Bride and B.B., respectively “would be f–king exciting”. Remembering the climax of ‘Kill Bill: Vol 2,’ a third movie feels much needed at this moment.
