We know from the movie that Sole finally starts to embrace her fears and checkmarks the list one by one. After learning that her friend has Alopecia, Sole helps her at the fashion show and then takes a big decision for herself.

The 25-year-old Sole Santoro decides to go to Rome and experience her life there. The plan sounds pitch perfect in her head until she ends up in an argument with her mother. Who also tells her that it will be the biggest mistake of her life.

Her mother even mentions the fact that her friends went to Rome for studying and stabilizing their careers. They had plans unlike Sole and acted on them. Despite this demotivating argument, Sole believes she can live her life in Rome with all the pros and cons. Only because she has learned to deal with her worst fears, and has progressed with her anxiety.

Therefore Sole embarks on her journey, but not before giving away the parting gifts. Firstly, she shares a moment of affection with her drawing partner and presents him with a self-portrait. Later, in a series of montages, we can see all the drawings that Sole made after making peace with her anxiety. It includes a drawing for his doctor cum therapist, and another one for her first crush.

Sole makes sure to not leave her mother agitated. She hugs her and ensures that she will be fine in Rome, and can live by herself now. Moreover, her mother asks Sole if she has said final goodbyes to each and every one. To which she affirms, and they both separate teary eyes.

In the final scenes, we can see a new, reformed and progress-filled version of Sole looking out of the car window. At last, she breaks the fourth wall again for the final time, as an indication to the viewers that she will be fine.

We don’t know if Sole has overcome all her anxieties and fears, but we know one thing for sure. That she is ready to face the obstacles, rather than running away from them. Something which Emma always wanted for her life.
