Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 2 Reactions: Fans Are Highly Satisfied With Toji’s Anime Adaptation

Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 2 Reactions from fans are all praises for the creators for the splendid manga to anime adaptation. The second episode of the anime series premiered on July 13, 2023. Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 (呪術廻戦 or Sorcery Fight) is directed by Sunghoo Park; the show is animated under MAPPA Studio. With Sayaka Koiso and Tadashi Hiramatsu designing the characters, Yoshimasa Terui is the sole composer of the series. Tatsuya Kitani performed the opening theme, Where Our Blue Is (青のすみか), while Soushi Sakiyama performed the ending theme, Light (燈).

The anime is scheduled for two cours, the first five episodes will adapt the manga’s Hidden Inventory arc, and the eighteen other episodes will showcase the Shibuya arc. Licensed under Crunchyroll, the episodes will be available with English subtitles, and the dubbed version will be released later on.

Based on the manga series of the same name by Gege Akutami, the story follows high school student Yuji Itadori as he joins a secret organization of Jujutsu Sorcerers in order to kill a powerful Curse named Ryomen Sukuna, of whom Yuji becomes the host. However, the new season will consist of various aspects of the story which the audience has been wondering about. Each episode has a runtime of 20-25 minutes.

The first few episodes of the new season focus on Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto’s past lives, where they grew up together in Jujutsu High. Introducing the arc’s main villain Toji Fushiguro who is known as the ‘Sorcerer Killer’ who is after Riko, the Star Plasma Vessel. The main mission of the sorcerers is to keep her safe from any harm until she merges with Tengen.

The second episode introduces the characters and provides much more depth. Not just intense and battle sequences, the episode also contains humourous elements, which makes it a fun viewing experience. However, the story is not as straightforward as it seems, hinting towards a much more complicated storyline that converges with the present characters.

The fans of the show are extremely satisfied with how the latest episode turned out to be. Everyone is seemingly enjoying the interactions between young Gojo and Geto, along with the younger version of Shoko. Nevertheless, fans are equally intrigued by Toji’s appearance and wonder how his character will develop further. Moreover, they wonder what connection he has with Megumi Fushiguro.
