Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 10 Ending Explained: The ninth episode of the anime series premiered on September 14, 2023. Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 (呪術廻戦 or Sorcery Fight) much-anticipated anime of this season, is finally out, and the fans cannot keep calm. Directed by Sunghoo Park, the show is animated under MAPPA Studio. With Sayaka Koiso and Tadashi Hiramatsu designing the characters, Yoshimasa Terui is the sole composer of the series. Tatsuya Kitani performed the opening theme, Where Our Blue Is (青のすみか), while Soushi Sakiyama performed the ending theme, Light (燈).
The anime is scheduled for two cours, the first five episodes will adapt the manga’s Hidden Inventory arc, and the eighteen other episodes will showcase the Shibuya arc. Licensed under Crunchyroll, the episodes will be available with English subtitles, and the dubbed version will be released later on.
Based on the manga series of the same name by Gege Akutami, the story follows high school student Yuji Itadori as he joins a secret organization of Jujutsu Sorcerers in order to kill a powerful Curse named Ryomen Sukuna, of whom Yuji becomes the host. However, the new season will consist of various aspects of the story which the audience has been wondering about. Each episode has a runtime of 20-25 minutes.
Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 10 Ending Explained
With Gojo Satoru now sealed, the Jujutsu world finds itself in a state of imbalance. His presence was instrumental in maintaining control over the cursed spirits, and his immense power made him nearly unbeatable. Consequently, his students and teachers are determined to prioritize his rescue in order to restore equilibrium to the world. Nevertheless, the path toward this goal will be a formidable and challenging journey.
However, the sorcerers have already made a plan to defeat Mahito and his group to free Gojo from the Prison Realm. But the villains are not waiting around either, each of them has a clear goal and they have started to work on it. The main target seems to be Yuji Itadori, although it is not just because he is Sukuna’s host body.
What is Jogo, Mahito and Choso’s plan?
Initially, unleashing Sukuna back into the Jujutsu world in his true form was the top most priority. But after the plan to seal Gojo was successful, everyone’s minds changed a little and so did their motivations. It is important to understand each of their intentions before their decisions because they all have different reasons for their actions.

Mahito’s intention is to kill Yuji and does not, much care about Sukuna. There is no deep reason behind it, he just enjoys looking at people suffering. Since Yuji was also the only one who managed to stand up against him and fight head-on, fuelled Mahito even more. Choso however have enough reason to go after both Yuji and Nobara because they exorcised his brothers, Eso and Kechizu.
Jogo on the other hand does not agree with killing him because of his devotion towards Sukuna. He believes that Sukuna is the only one who can truly take over the Jujutsu world and dominate it, letting all the other cursed spirits rule. Since Yuji is Sukuna’s host body, it is imperative for him to protect it at all costs.
