John Krasinski has always been most Marvel fans’ favourite choice to play Reed Richards, aka Mr Fantastic, in the MCU. The Office actor had first auditioned to play Steve Rogers, aka Captain America, for the superhero franchise. However, Chris Evans got the role back then. But what if John is getting another chance to feature in the franchise with another promising character?
For the last 2 years, the reports of John as Mr Fantastic and Emily Blunt as Sue Storm/the Invisible Woman have been doing rounds. But the latest update is related to Marvel’s upcoming exciting film Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. As per the reports, Krasinski has already shot some scenes for Benedict Cumberbatch’s film.
No one knows if the reports are true or not. But they have caused great enthusiasm among fans. As soon as the speculations came out, fans took to Twitter to share their reactions. Some even shared edited pics of John as Mr Fantastic in MCU.
One fan wrote, “JOHN KRASINSKI IS ACTUALLY PLAYING MR. FANTASTIC IM GONNA CRY”. “JOHN KRASINSKI AS MR. FANTASTIC!!??? IS THIS ACTUALLY REAL??,” tweeted another excited fan.

The reports state that the actor plays one of the variants of Reed Richards. So far, the studio or the actor hasn’t confirmed anything. So we will have to wait till we see the film.
Meanwhile, Multiverse of Madness also stars Elizabeth Olsen, Benedict Wong, Rachel McAdams and Rachel McAdams. As per the reports, actors Tom Hiddleston, Sophia Di Martino and Owen Wilson will also appear in the film. Directed by Sam Raimi, Doctor Strange 2 is slated to release on May 4, 2022.
