Jehanabad Ending Explained

With the jailbreak taking place slowly in the background, Jehanabad goes through the ten episodes giving us a love story that is bound to end in heartbreak. Before episode 10, Kasturi and Abhimanyu are ready to get married, only for him to be “abducted” just as he’s about to enter her house. Kasturi follows suit in her wedding lehenga and finds a horrible fight taking place outside the jail between the police and the Naxals – the feared Deepak Kumar has made an escape, and Abhimanyu is by his side, trying to gun the police down.
This is when she realises that Abhimanyu is a part of this whole debacle. The audience got to know previously that Abhimanyu is Deepak’s brother and that he created this whole relationship with Kasturi because of her father, who works in the jail and has access to the inside. An angry Kasturi picks up a gun lying around and starts shooting towards them, but in the skirmish, she gets shot, and Abhimanyu rushes to her aid.
We are then transported to some undisclosed time later, where we see Kasturi in the dense jungle struggling against the people who are hot on their trails. It turns out that, probably because of their love for each other, Kasturi has decided to work with Abhimanyu and Deepak and is now fighting for the Naxal cause. Maybe Abhimanyu brainwashed her, or it might also have been her own decision; but either way, Kasturi is definitely fighting against the police.
So the ending is quite bleak and unclear, and we are not sure whether Deepak and Abhimanyu are with her or whether she has joined some other group. But it wouldn’t be unfair to assume that she joined them in order to be with the one whom she loves. Considering how she fought for the less privileged previously, she might also sympathise with Deepak’s cause and is thus fighting with a shared objective.

It intense, thrilling and convincing story, except ending..
If she became naxal then second season is bound to be hopeless so believing intelligence of think tanks either they will change script drastically or will let the series end here.
In serial family man we saw the cliffhanger had no relevance in second season making viewers feel cheated.
Also…. When identity Abhimanyu Singh was fake and target was Brahmin girl, why not Abhimanyu Sharma or Pandey?
baat toh sahi h
What is your point?
I dont know why all indian web series ending like this(without Clue what happened ). Viewer just spend hours on your Web series but what they get in the ending. Just a greed of director producer for the part 2.
Climax Doesn’t have any sense, all plot is based on how to escape from jail. and in the end director forget to show that.
Agreed
Target initially was not a Brahmin girl, nor any girl for that matter. It was only later when Abhimanyu came to know that Kasturi’s father works in the jail canteen, that he devises the plan.
I think the ending can be: kasturi joins naxals because that police force dead shot abhimanyu { as the sp commands to do}. So maybe she was taking revenge. but i know the possibility of this situation is quite low coz if that would be the case then we are losing our ML for romance……..
