The trailer for Shah Rukh Khan’s second action movie of 2023 (another movie is yet to come!) has dropped and Jawan Trailer Memes and Reactions have taken Twitter by storm. What’s going to be SRK’s first pan-India venture, the movie has been directed by Atlee (Mersal, Bigil, Theri). From the looks of the actors to the action to the very mood that the trailer sets tell us that it is going to be a mass entertainer. King Khan seems to have decided to shift from his romantic image and give the audiences what they apparently prefer. Does this mean that he is going to change his image?
A Red Chillies Entertainment production, the movie stars Shah Rukh Khan, Vijay Sethupathi, and Nayanthara in lead roles. Deepika Padukone and Thalapathy Vijay (reportedly) will have special appearances. The music has been composed by Anirudh Ravichander (Vikram, Leo, Jailer, Master). We have GK Vishnu as the Director of Photography. He was the DOP for Atlee’s Mersal and Bigil as well. And we have Ruben as the Editor (Theri, Bigil, Pushpa: The Rise – Part 1). The rap that we hear in the trailer has been both written and performed by Raja Kumari. So we can expect to have more of her raps in the movie too.

While some are praising Shah Rukh Khan’s looks, which are more than two as we can make out from the trailer, others are busy finding similarities with other movies. Numerous are just hitting the NOS on how the movie is going to break all box office records which basically means that Shah Rukh Khan is going to break his own record that he set in Pathaan. And then there are those who are just looking for ways to demean the actor by any means possible. But what’s most surprising is how the trailer has got “Moon Knight” trending on Twitter due to SRK’s all-wrapped-up avatar.
There can be no doubt that through Jawan, SRK is upping his own game and the Jawan Trailer Memes and Reactions prove that it is working. His finger has hit the pulse of the masses and now it’s all about how he plays it. But in the words of John Keats himself, even in the very temple of delight, veiled Melancholy has her sovereign shrine. We all remember what happened to 2019’s Saaho. That too promised screen-tearing action but tanked miserably because that’s the only thing the movie had. But let’s hope that we will get what we expect. King Khan has the right to experiment and it has been a long time coming. Main Hoon Na, Chennai Express, Dilwale; all these movies showed that SRK liked doing action. So Pathaan was the first gear, and Jawan is the second. And while we can never get over him as the symbol of romance, we have to hand it to him for exploring more especially at his age when other actors chose to not cross the line and risk their popularity. Not many are successful in the endeavor but this guy has proved that it is possible.
