We can still taste those spices from when some of the top chefs competed in Iron Chef Mexico with one of their best dishes. The chefs on the program collectively brought a variety of cooking-related ideas to the table, from visual representation to distinctive flavors.
With its eight episodes, Iron Chef Mexico, which debuted on September 21st, 2022, brought the legendary Iron Chef franchise back to life. The delicious show employed the same structure as earlier seasons of the well-known brand. The contest was overseen by The Chairman and took place in the Kitchen Stadium.
Typically, there have been two rounds, the appetizers, and the main courses—where the challenger competes against the champions. As we know, Gabriela Ruiz, Roberto Solis, and Francisco Ruano were the three Iron Chefs.

The best aspect of the program is that it follows the Iron Chef format, which dates back to 1993 when the first Japanese version of the program debuted on television. And over decades, it has undergone several presentational modifications and gone through multiple incarnations.
Whether it is the thrilling new secret ingredients or the fresh challenger chefs, The culinary show brought many new elements with it. Every episode included a delicious new dish for us to taste, but only the greatest among those outstanding chefs were awarded the Mythical Katana.
Iron Chef Mexico: Who won the ‘Iron Chef’ Title?
Indeed, we got many new Chefs who debuted in the most recent show. We saw them compete against the top chefs and witness the battle that was awarded the highest honour. Let’s talk about the war we witnessed in the Kitchen stadium of the grand finale before announcing the name of the great champion.
The challenger Chef Claudette Zepeda prepared her knives in preparation for the culinary challenge against the three renowned Iron Chefs, where their secret ingredient was an alive tropical Gar Pejelagarto. The fact that the fish had scales instead of skin presented a problem on its own.

The Day of the Dead, a significant festival in which Mexicans respect and remember their ancestors, was the focus of the Grand Finale. As a result, the remarkable chefs’ creations must honour cultural and traditional values.
Both the Challenger and the Iron chefs used their maximum inventiveness to prepare unexpected dishes for our judges Sophie Avernin, Gerado Vazquez Lugo, and Belinda.
The chefs’ many excellent dishes, which launch a completely new level of creativity, were produced with a flavorful taste of Mexican culture. But, with the risky combination of beautiful edible flowers and tropical gar, the title was taken by all of them!
It is true that challenger Chef Claudette Zepeda earned the honour of having a Tie with the Chairman’s ultimate three Iron Chefs. However, it also means that the Iron Chefs demonstrated their invincibility.
