Indian Predator Diary of a Serial Killer Teaser: Reveals the Horrible Crimes of Raja Kolander

Indian Predator Diary of a Serial Killer is a true-crime documentary series, set to be released on Netflix, next month. It is India Today Originals Production which is in succession to the previous documentary series about the Butcher of Delhi. This series is directed by Dheeraj Jindal, a screenplay written by Sudeep Nigam with Chandni Ahlawat Dabas and Moumita Sen as executive producers.

The synopsis of the show reads, “When a suspect is found in a journalist’s murder, the case is considered closed until a secret diary suggests 13 more victims — and possible cannibalism.” The second part of the predator series will reveal the horrible crimes of the sadistic killer Raja Kolander.

In the released video, a man (presumably a journalist) recalls the time when he reached the press conference, organised to reveal the information of the case, which had 2 human skulls on the table. He explains the facial expressions of the killer as very cruel and indifferent. In fact, he accepted all of his crimes to the media in excruciating detail.

According to his testimony, he didn’t kill people due to any ulterior reason, he killed just for the sake of killing and keeping his sanity (to increase brain power). The incident came to light when the police began an investigation in connection with a newspaper journalist’s disappearance. The investigation led police to the killer’s wife and ultimately he was caught on the run.

Raja Kolander has killed at least 14 people and the most shocking detail to come out of it is that he used to boil the skull and eat the brains of his victim, to upskill his intellect. He even kept the skulls as a prized possession. Currently, he is serving life imprisonment with another accomplice, who is his brother-in-law.

The series is set to be released on 7 September 2022 by Netflix.
