Never Have I Ever Season 3: Who Does Devi End Up With? What to Expect in Season 4?

Never Have I Ever Season 3 was released on August 10 and made all the teenage rom-com lovers happy. Created by Mindy Kaling and Lang Fisher, the Netflix series stars Maitreyi Ramakrishnan as Devi Vishwakumar, Poorna Jagannathan as Dr Nalini Vishwakumar, Richa Moorjani as Kamala Nandiwadal, Darren Barnet as Paxton Hall-Yoshida, Jaren Lewison as Ben Gross, Ramona Young as Eleanor Wong and Lee Rodriguez as Fabiola Torres. Season 3 also saw the entry of a new hottie in Devi’s life – Anirudh Pisharody as Nirdesh aka Des.

From season 1, Devi has been confused about who she likes the most – Ben or Paxton. As a brown Indian girl, dating it was her American rom-com movie dream to date a hot guy like Paxton. At the end of season 2, after a lot of drama, Devi chooses Paxton over Ben. But do they succeed in keeping their relationship strong? We saw a lot of drama between them in season 3.

From Paxton’s long list of exes to Devi’s insecurities, many things cause troubles in their relationship. Even though they tried to get through most of the issues, Paxton couldn’t help Devi with her lack of trust and self-love. He breaks up with her due to the same reason.

Never Have I Ever Season 3 Still

Never Have I Ever Season 3 Ending: Who Does Devi End Up With – Ben, Nirdesh or Paxton (again)?

Devi is single again until she meets a new desi boy – Nirdesh, aka Des. Des is the son of one of Nalini’s friends. In no time, Des and Devi start dating. However, Des’ mother learns about Devi’s trauma due to her father’s death. She tells Des to end things with Devi as she’s too much to handle. She doesn’t want her son to be with someone like Devi, as it’s time for him to focus on his bright future. Des and Devi break up.

It’s the last day as a junior for Devi and her friends. However, the Principal informed Devi that she got into a special one-year program at the Shrubland School in Colorado. While Devi is confused, her mother, Nalini, Mr Kulkarni and Ben insist that she should go as it’s a good opportunity.

During Paxton and other seniors’ graduation function, Devi realises that she doesn’t want to leave Sherman Oaks. Devi breaks down, hugs Nalini, and says she isn’t ready to leave her yet. Devi also realises her feelings for Ben again.

The episode ends with Devi knocking on Ben’s door. She gives him a note which he had given her earlier. The note reads – One Free Boink. The two start kissing, and the door closes. That’s the end of Never Have I Ever Season 3. Does it mean that Devi and Ben will have sex? Well, that’s something we will find out in the next season.

Never Have I Ever Season 4: What to Expect?

In the last episode, Ben asked one of his classmates on a date. We don’t know if the date happened or if it was cancelled. But it hints at another love triangle in the Netflix show.

As it’s the final year and also the final season, we can expect Never Have I Ever 4 to be full of fun, romance, drama and tears.
