Hunters Season 2 is the continuation of the revenge thriller series that revolves around a fictional team of Nazi Hunters, that operate through their undercover aliases to put a definite end to Hitler’s infamous Fourth Reich. The gritty series is created by American writer David Weil and stars Logan Lerman and Al Pacino in titular roles.
The complete cast of the show includes Jerrika Hinton, Lena Olin, Josh Radnor, Tiffany Boone, Carol Kane, Louis Ozawa, Kate Mulvany, and Greg Austin. Moreover, Jordan Peele (Get Out, Nope) serves as the executive producer of the second season.
-Hunters Season 2 Review Does Not Contain Spoilers-
The second instalment of the Nazi Hunter series picks up right after the dramatic events of the first season and finds the revenge-seeking group scattered across different places and timelines. Jonah (played by Logan Lerman) is on the lookout for Nazi agent Biff Simpson and is still leading the hunt through his own peculiar methods.
Meanwhile, Meyer Offerman (played by Al Pacino), (whose real identity was uncovered in the previous season) finds himself on a parallel track of deducing the real person who knows a little too much about his Nazi past. On the other hand, the line between the law and justice is blurred for CBI agent Millie Morris, who lands herself in an ethical dilemma in the new season.
Even though the character trajectories point in different directions, the ultimate aim of the hardcore season remains in unison. Which is to eliminate Adolf Hitler and complete the final hunt, once and for all.
At its core, Hunters Season 2 is an absolute banger that never leaves the rhythm of perfection (not even once). And curates an engaging portrayal of revenge in its raw form. Moreover, just like the first instalment, nearly everything remains in sync, and the momentum carries the show forward with a constant thrill and adrenaline rush.

Every cliffhanger works, and every setup excels. Plus, there is no room for any mundane moments in the show, which really feels as if the makers have fixed all the loose ends (which were very few, to begin with). Furthermore, it is pretty clear that they finished off on a high note of crafted perfection, with a thematically appealing show.
I can literally watch Al Pacino just reciting stories (that don’t require to make much sense), for an infinite deal of time. It’s just an absolute privilege to watch an actor of his calibre, performing his subtle best. Even though one is aware of the grey shade in his character, there is simply no stopping the brilliance of Pacino, literally none.
Logan Lerman finally gets his due in the role of Jonah. The aching actor inside him gets to express his level best, and dominate an exponentially different character arc. He’s almost unrecognizable in the role and makes the best of his versatile talents.
Hunters Season 2 Final Thoughts

All in all, there is no reason why you should miss out on one of the most underrated shows of all time. It has the guts, it has the potential, and it has all the right elements, to claim the tag of a masterclass in thriller storytelling. Plus you might just need a Tarantino movie to infuse the euphoria of the binge in the right direction.
