After both Marshall and Lily get to see the house’s full potential in Long Island, they decide to move there. They announce the news to their friends, and Robin is visibly bothered by it. She tried to convince them not to leave the house they currently reside in. Meanwhile, Ted and Barney are upset that they both had a bad year making a love connection, so they decide to become ‘bro-parents’. They decide to adopt a child so that they can fill in the void left by the women in their lives.
