House of the Dragon Season 2 Episode 2 Recap
In the second episode of House of the Dragon, we saw Daemon flying away without notice after a fight with Rhaenyra on the matter of killing Aegon’s son. Meanwhile, a furious Aegon kills all ratcatchers in the city, brutally assaults Blood and Cheese and gets restless to attack Rhaenyra in revenge. Ultimately, it is Ser Criston Cole who aids this urge by sending Ser Arryk to kill Rhaenyra. Unfortunately, he dies and so does his brother, Ser Erryk while fighting for his queen.
Aegon sees Criston’s move as loyal and dismisses Otto from the position of the Hand and, puts Criston in that position instead. Meanwhile, Criston and Alicent continue their relationship behind closed doors.
House of the Dragon Season 2 Episode 3 Preview
It is Rhaenys’ monologue that opens the preview trailer with the right words of how the war is going to soon turn from civil to deadly. We can see Daemon landing somewhere and, the gloomy atmosphere gives us an indication that it is Harrenhal. With Ser Criston Cole and Aemond both a part of the council guiding Aegon, it is clear that is going to declare war soon enough.
We also see the preview trailer hint at more dragons through unhatched eggs and, soon enough we will see Dragons fighting Dragons. Sadly, Rhaenys’ is right about everything being savage by the end of it.
