House of the Dragon is successfully running for the past few weeks. Based on George R.R. Martin’s ‘Fire & Blood,’ the series, which is set 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones, tells the story of House Targaryen. While we bid adieu to the young versions of the characters last week, the latest episode introduced us to a new recast and characters.

Aegon Targaryen Played by Ty Tennant

Prince Aegon’s incurable indolence and indifference to his royal duties prevent him from taking an active part in the affairs of the kingdom, but many believe him to be the rightful heir as Viserys’ oldest living son. Like his father, Aegon is a dragon rider and bonded with the dragon Sunfyre.

Helaena Targaryen Played by Evie Allen

The constant allegations of his relationship with Princess Rhaenyra and her sons ultimately led to his downfall in King’s Landing. He returned to his seat at Harrenhal, where he was tragically killed in a fire.

Larys Strong Played by Matthew Needham
Larys Strong is the younger son of Lyonel Strong and the brother of Ser Harwin Strong. Although no one says it to his face, many refer to him as ‘The Clubfoot’ because of a birth abnormality that causes him to walk with a limp. Though cunning and remorseless, he is often overlooked because of his small, sickly stature.
His budding alliance with Queen Alicent puts him in a powerful position in the realm. Larys uses this short staff, inset with a golden firefly, for support.
