Harry and Meghan Docuseries Twitter Reactions: Mixed Bag of Love and Hate

Netflix’s docuseries Harry and Meghan is based on Prince Harry and the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle has just dropped, and everyone is ecstatic about it. The series is directed by Lucy Ciara and McCutcheon and executive produced by Brian Aabech.

The documentary has come out with its first three episodes out of six and has set the standard. Each episode gave out extensive new information about Harry and Meghan from the couple themselves, making every nuance authentic and thrilling. The episodes run about 50 minutes and include various people such as Meghan’s close friends, her mother, British officials, Harry’s friends, etc.

The official Netflix description of the docuseries reads:

From their courtship to their exit from royal life, Harry and Meghan share their complex journey in their own words in this docuseries.

The docuseries goes through the timeline of how the couple met and their relationship bloomed. Described as a modern-day fairytale, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will make you believe in love again. Their chemistry, love and respect for each other do not go unnoticed.

It was very unusual for someone from the Royal Family to marry someone from a different race, but the couple stayed together, defying all odds. Many conspiracies and plots against them went on, especially targeting Meghan. Stories against her were leaked and planted, immensely affecting her mental health.

Twisted information and secrets about how Meghan was discriminated against solely due to her skin colour left the audience surprised and confused. Meghan and Harry’s struggle to survive in the family was one of their hardest tasks until they finally found the strength to break free.

The reaction from the audience is the polar opposite. Half of the viewers trust the couple and sympathise with their story; meanwhile, the other half suggests that Meghan is inauthentic and influenced Harry to give up on his royal lifestyle. Various opinions are getting shared online, leading to disagreements among the Twitter community.
