Netflix’s roster of international movies is never running out of fuel, and firing up the engine yet again is the new upcoming Dutch romantic comedy film Happy Ending. While the title reminds us of the great saying “All’s well that ends well”, the perfectly happy-ever-after ending is yet to be seen. From the first looks of the trailer itself, the movie presents us with an all-too-perfect relationship between two partners, but whenever the idea of perfection rolls in, there’s rarely ever room for it in reality.
On being faced with a similar situation, our “happy” couple in question will also be trying out some things to keep their relationship swell and spicy. And though we all know that such changes always come with strings attached, we’re yet to see if this new development is going to transform their bond for better or for worse, or just introduce them to a new piece of information about themselves that has never found the time or opportunity to pop up before.
Happy Ending Netflix Cast
The movie stars Gaite Jansen as Luna, Martijn Lakemeier as Mink, i.e. the titular couple celebrating their one-year anniversary. Joining the two as part of the leading trio is Joy Delima as Eve. Alongside them, Claire Bender, Sinem Kavus and Sidar Toksöz will be playing pivotal roles too.
Happy Ending Plot / Storyline
Luna and Mink, mutually in love with each, make for a great couple as they celebrate their one-year-anniversary. However, the near perfection of their relationship is brought to question as Luna has been faking all her orgasms all this while and keeping it a secret from Mink. But, as always, such conversations tend to pop up among friends, and they encourage her to try some new things in bedroom. And so, she proposes him the exciting idea of a threesome which then brings climate activist Eve into her life, turning everything upside down.
Happy Ending Release Date and Trailer
