Indian actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu celebrates her 35th birthday today. It has been more than a decade since Samantha entered the acting world. She’s one of the biggest stars in the Telugu and Tamil film industries. Over the last few years, Samantha has given many memorable performances and won many awards.
From Ye Maaya Chesave, Eega, Manam to Mahanti to Oh! Baby to Super Deluxe, Samantha has given some outstanding performances. The last time she appeared on screen was for a dance number in Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa: The Rise. The actor has some exciting films coming up in 2022 and 2023.

Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal
It’s a birthday treat for all the Samantha fans. The film has released in theatres on April 28, 2022. The multi-starrer Tamil romantic comedy stars actors Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara and Prabhu. The film is written and directed by Vignesh Shivan.
Yashoda
The actor will play the titular role in the sci-fi thriller written and directed by Hari Shankar and Harish Narayan. One women’s day, the makers shared a video and introduced us to women working on the film, off and on screen. The film stars Unni Mukundan, Sampath Raj, and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, and it will be released in 5 Indian languages – Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada.

Shaakuntalam
The actor’s next film is titled Shaakuntalam, based on Kalidasa’s point ‘Shankutala’. Samatha will play the titular role in the mythological drama written and directed by Gunasekhar. The film also stars Prakash Raj, Dev Mohan, Mohan Babu, Aditi Balan and Madhubaala. The actor described the character as ‘ethereal and demure’ during the film’s announcement. The release date is not yet announced.
Film With Vijay Deverakonda
A few days ago, Samantha and Vijay Deverakonda announced that they would be working together in Shiva Nirvana next. The film is currently titled ‘VD11’, and the filming is set to happen in Kashmir. The actor was spotted yesterday at the airport to start the film’s shooting in Kashmir.
